Trans-Parenting Podcast

Raising and supporting a transgender child (including teens and young adults) is still seen as a radical move by many. We are here to offer support and help educate people on matters ranging from understanding the difference between being gender non-conforming and trans, talking to doctors, when to allow a child to transition, name changes, clothing, puberty, hormones, sports, schools, family stress, religion, laws, frustrations and triumphs. As society starts to understand the needs of the transgender community, more people are seeking information on how to be supportive. We will also explore ways schools, medical offices, and businesses in general can support the trans population, as an extension of the training services offered through Gender Inc.
