    Consequences and Free Speech

I incorrectly called this "episode 8" on the show! Whoops. On this episode, I discuss the gift of finally suffering real consequences. I also talk about how much I love talking! And then I seamlessly transition into talking about SPEECH, and go into detail about Jimmy Kimmel getting pulled off the air and my thoughts on the first amendment (and America) as a whole. Hope you enjoy!

    White People Condemning Political Assassinations

Did you wanna hear a break from me talking endlessly about myself? Today's your lucky day! In this impromptu episode based off recent events, I mock conservative activists and then I go on a half-hour rant about white people's desperate need to feel like they're good people and why political violence terrifies them. Do you love America? Then this episode might not be for you. Sorry!

Mourning Unhealthy Dynamics and Fairy Tales

In episode 5 of Tran's Talk, I talk to my phone while lying down in bed because I'm so exhausted that I can barely get up. But I still wanted to talk to you all! In this episode, I discuss why I mourn things that were unhealthy for me and messing up my life, as well as the fairy tales I needed to give up on. "Feelings don't care about your facts!" I also discuss how freeing it is to no longer wear a mask and project a false self and why I'm no longer tired after socializing with others. Thank you all for following along this journey! Love you byeeeee <3

The Consequences of Blowing Up Your Whole Life on Purpose

In episode 4 of Tran's Talk, I talk about blowing up my entire life and the moment I hit rock bottom which finally made me let go of lifelong childish fantasies. All of my life, I've clung onto "woe is me" as an escape, but I learned the hard way that what I'm experiencing is just life and I need to actually live it, so I'm saying goodbye to learned helplessness. I also talk about intentional solitude vs. isolation, the addiction to external validation, surrendering to sadness, and minimizing meta feelings. Throughout all of this, I've learned resiliency, independence, and how to have more confidence. I've always identified as a shy introvert, but I talk about how I'm not sure if that's true anymore after weeks of socializing. Hope you enjoy this episode!

Tran's Talk Episode 3 - Robin is Single and Homeless!

So much has happened in such a short period of time in Robin's life that she can barely hold on! But she wanted to release this episode while the revelations and epiphanies were fresh. Why am I talking in third person?? In this episode, I discuss the breakup, complacency, living life without a safety net, realizing why I never made money before, lessons I've learned about relationships, and how it feels like to be single for the first time in over a decade. If you've never listened to an episode before, start with this one. Thank you!

Tran's Talk Episode 0 - The Origins of a Troll

In the unofficial first episode of Tran's Talk, I (Robin Tran) discuss South Park, dark humor as a kink, the origins of being a troll, and why right-wingers are so bad at comedy. This was meant to be episode 3, but due to how topical the subject is, I decided to release it first. Subsequent episodes will have more of a format. Hope you like it!IG: robintran04TikTok: robintrancomedianI will be in San Francisco at Punch Line on 8/19-8/20!
