Class is back in session for Transformers University Episode 163 as we continue our journey through Transformers: Super-God Masterforce with episodes 26, 27, and 28. This time, God Jinrai finally takes to the skies with Godbomber, Black Zarak arrives, and the battle heads to the surface of the moon for a massive showdown involving Overlord and Grand Maximus. We also dig into the debut of God Jinrai’s Fire Guts power, its lasting influence on later Transformers toys, and the wonderfully strange “Chōkon Tornado” episode that brings the fight back to Earth.

The Masterforce manga proves to be as interesting and weird as its predecessors!

We return to Masterforce to learn of a mysterious profit and an evil Decepticon plan, Overlord makes his TV debut, and the Autobots get violent! *Skrutch Skrutch*

We head back to the UK to discuss the Marvel UK story, “Space Pirates,” as well as the framing device used to set it up, blending the Marvel US, UK, and TV continuities. Plus, we’ll check out two more stories and watch a fan-favorite character get dealt with in a swift, brutal manner.

In this episode we’ll find the 4th Godmaster, someone gets a new pet, and a powerful Autobot warrior arrives from space!

In this episode, we wrap up the Ladybird Books continuity with two more entries: Autobot Hostage and Decepticons Underground. We hang out with an even older sounding Kup, meet a Nebulan under his working name, and find out which Autobot is a serial murderer!
