400km Run for Brú Columbanus: Aidan's Final Journey
Kaya Flynn speaks to Fozzy Forristal and PJ Meehan, who—along with their friend Tom Owens—are taking on an extraordinary 400km run across Ireland to raise funds for Brú Columbanus. The challenge is deeply personal. Last August, Fozzy’s son Aidan sadly passed away. During that difficult time, Fozzy and his family found comfort and support through the services of Brú Columbanus in Cork. Now, in Aidan’s memory, the trio are determined to give back and raise vital funds for the organisation that helped them when they needed it most. Their journey will begin at Brú Columbanus in Cork and travel through Dungarvan, Glenmore, Ballingarry, Kilmallock, Lixnaw—Aidan’s home village—and finish in Ardfert, his final resting place.

Fossa Two Mile CCÉ 20 Years | Travels Through a Kingdom
This week on Travels Through a Kingdom with Kaya Flynn, we’re in Fossa Two Mile CCÉ, where celebrations were in full swing on Tuesday, September 30th. The community marked two decades of set dancing — twenty years of music, memories, and joyful steps — all in support of the Ronald McDonald Foundation for Crumlin Hospital. Music on the night came from the resident band: Mike Cronin, Brendan Kelliher, Petter Bellew, Mary Kelleher, Paul Cremin, Breda Kelliher, and Mike Doyle. Kaya also chats with committee member Tim Kissane, who shares stories from the night and reflections on what two decades of dancing have meant to the Fossa Two Mile community.
