We are finally back with a new episode and in this's weeks episode I am joined by Justin Angelovich. Justin is a Colorado Houndsman that just popped his head back up for some air after the incredible fight they just had last year. In this week's episode, I am pulling another great episode out of the vault. It is with Kenneth Laroux better known as Chooch. Chooch has been following a dog in pursuit of some sort of game his entire life. Growing up deep in the swamps of Louisiana hunting and trapping were a part of his everyday life. In this's weeks episode I am pulling a crowd favorite from the vault that was with Terry Carr. Terry Carr owned the famous Leopard Wick's Camo Jug long before his rise to fame at the end of John Wick's lead. Terry tells the story of how he found Jug and how he inevitably sold him to John. In this week's episode I am joined by Greg Thompson. I met Greg about two years ago by chance at Tractor Supply. I noticed his dog box and had to strike up a conversation. He was in town visiting his parents for the holidays. While Greg was originally from the same area as me, he has moved West and is now a dry ground lion hunter. In this week's episode I am joined by Pat Blanton. Pat has had Stephens Curs long before the registry even exitsed. He knew and hunted with the founger Hugh Stephens. In this week's episode I am joined by my friend Corey Dick. I met Corey a few years ago and hunted with him a few times since first talking with him. Corey has a very interesting story and fell into tree dogs 14 years ago. He has had a handful of hounds and got his first cur 4 years ago. He has since fell in love with these little meat dogs. He has now decided that is the direction he is taking his kennel. He enjoys being able to hunt the same dogs both day and night. Tyler has a pack of White Cloud bred walkers that he devotes a lot of time too. While I have never hunted with them I have heard that they are top notch. Bear hunting has certainly been a passion of Tylers for many years but he got his start following a hound after dark and still loves to pack a good coondog up and down the road to the competition hunts. In this week's episode I am joined by Mike Sheppard. Starting out Mike trapped in his early youth but quickly relized he wanted to coon hunt to increase his fur harvest. Following the advice of a local Bluetick man, he went stright to Dave Dean to get a Hammer bred Bluetick. After that he was hooked. He started breeding dogs as he needed them and has kept a farily nice line of dogs by all accounts. After about 20 years in the coon hunting game, came a dog that put Mike on the map, Piazon. While he did his fair share of winning Piazon shined in the stud pen and his currently sitting at 9th on the historical reproducers list.
