"Regarding the Pettysburg Address"
So, the Mad King went on the tele last night to give an "important speech" which turned out to be an airing of nonsensical conspiracy theories that even the most tinniest of foil hat wearers would have trouble deciphering. It's all just pretext to some serious malicious election fudgery...write it down.Should we be super worried? Oh, and Whiskey Pete Hegseth is greenlighting gender affirming care...and I can't even get into the MAHA nonsense. Seriously, I can't. It's too much! I'll be back on Monday.-T
-
98
"Red Cards for Everyone"
Platner, Murica250 and World Cup Shenanigans. What a week of ugly business. Platner needs to drop out immediately, the 250th was a total disaster, and the World Cup Tournament was cruising along just fine until someone decided to put his tiny, filthy hands on it. <Insert primal yell here>- T
-
97
"Ode To True Patriotism"
July 4th weekend is a time to show our patriotism. But what does that mean? I have some thoughts.Enjoy, -T
-
96
"A Not-So-Supreme Court"
SCOTUS is up to its usual nonsense. Taking on the activist conservative justices is a full-time job all on its own. How do we fix it? Amazingly there's plenty of options...but winning elections comes first.Be safe,-T
-
95
"The Swampiest Pool in the World"
Double the "E for explicit" in this episode, as I really went for it. What can I say? Sometimes there's no substitute for some good old-fashioned vulgarity. More talk about corruption and abuse by those chosen to protect us from those very things will make a fellow quite cross. Enjoy the saltiest of episodes. With love on number 101!-T
-
94
"The Word You Are Searching For Is SURRENDER"
Well, it looks as though we've got an end to the US/Iranian War, and it's probably not the one you thought we'd get. The Memorandum of Understanding is being signed, but what's in it? More importantly, what's NOT in it?Oh, and a quick word on the upcoming midterms and the f%$kery this regime is engaging in to prevent being voted out of power.Enjoy, -T
-
93
"The Platner of It All." *see note
*FOLLOW UP EPISODE TITLED "RED CARDS FOR EVERYONE" PUBLISHED 7/7/26 INTENDED TO BE A COMPANION TO THIS EPISODE*Graham Platner...who is he? Why is he important? And what does he have to do with the Trent from the title of the show?Food for thought.-T

"Be Mad at the Right 1%"
Where've I been? Right here...I'm rather boring that way. Much of America is just surviving, not thriving. Are they blaming the correct people for their lack of success? Some are, most aren't.Happy to be back.-T
-
91
"Project $1.776B"
A massive, illegal slush fund, corruption at the department of injustice, the internal revenue service neutered, and choosing your voters. You guessed it...I'm back to talk turkey about the Mad King. Also, an update on my dog (she's fine).Enjoy!-T
-

"A Different Dog-Themed Episode"
Dogs.Happiness.Love.Just some of the good things in life.Love,-T
-
89
"The Misbehavior of Old, Territorial Dogs"
It certainly seems the Supreme Court has opened the door for wildly racist gerrymandering with its latest decision. What does it mean and will it work? Then I tell a story about an old dog that I really loved and a behavior he had which I didn't care for at all.Stay strong,-T
-
88
"I Will NOT Be Gaslit on This."
Both sides? Nah.Freedom of speech? Nah.Fair warning...EXPLICIT episode day.Stay strong,-T
-
87
"Wisdom is as Wisdom Does."
What's important? What difference does it make? How should we spend our time? What the hell is going on!?!?Breathe. It's time to take a moment.Love,-T
-
86
"Just Call It Evil"
We don't call it out enough. Plain language. Honesty. What's Trump's biggest issue: he's evil. But evil won't win this battle.-T
-
85
"Talkin' TACOs!"
Sadly, this isn't a podcast about one of my favorite versions of a sandwich (come at me, bro), but rather the Trump Always Chickens Out phenomenon. How long does it all last? What are we supposed to be focused on? What is truly important and in what amounts? So many questions, so little courage.Let's see what comes of it.-T
-
84
"Back in the Pain."
Old injuries, No Kings, and the dumbest war ever.Yes, it's been quite a week.Stay strong, stay safe,-T
-
83
"Edwin Starr and The Temptations Had It Right"
Well...what else was I supposed to talk about? Also, don't forget to find a No Kings event near you at nokings.orgStay strong!-T
-
82
"Preparing for the Spider Assault"
This episode is NOT about an actual spider assault...it's more about the sensation you feel when your brain is convinced there's a spider assault happening.Oh, spoiler alert.Enjoy!-T
-
81
"Lies Are More Than Just Untruths"
Lies hurt us all. Find the truth.Stay strong, stay safe, -T
-
80
"Stupid People Start Stupid Wars"
Well, another republican president has started another war in the middle east. Or maybe it was Israel? No story told in public regarding this "special military operation" (this is what you are required to call it unless you're the mad king or his drunken secretary of war) makes much sense. So what do we know for certain? There's a lot of aerial bombing/strikes and it's all extremely expensive. At least the department of homeland security is doing a horrible job....yeah, I said it.Stay safe, stay strong,-T
-
79
"Free Market Capitalism? I Don't Think it Exists..."
A few words on the Paramount/Warner Brothers/Discovery merger. And the corrupt regime that allows/forces them to marry.I feel all icky.-T
-
78
"State of Disunion 2026, Bring a Mop"
How do you respond to Trump's "State of the Union" address when he's talking about a union that only exists for the Mad King and his cronies? Well, start with calling it like it is: lies, projection, and corruption.Oh, and bring your broom and mop, because we've got a lot to clean up.Love, -T
-
77
"Loser."
So the supreme court actually put a check on the Mad King. Tariffs, as Donny Dementia uses them, are unconstitutional and cannot stand. What comes next? What does it mean to the rest of us?Prepare for the meltdown....Stay strong, stay safe, we're in this together.-T
-
76
"The Magic of a Crossword Puzzle"
More chaos, more stress, more more more...as this crazy world spins faster out of control, we all need tools to combat the hopelessness. In this episode, Trent takes on those stresses with help from a little one.During times like these, we need one another more than ever.Be good humans,Love,-T
-
75
"Throw Away People"
So much happens in such a short time...and it's all by design. Today's episode features more gratitude to all of you, my friends, and then there's a new argument to share with your pro-Trump family and/or friends. Also, racist distractions, Bad Bunny, the amazing island of Puerto Rico, how awesome Minneapolis is, criminality, and who's winning.Always with love!-T EDIT NOTE: I mistakenly named Coinbase as the crypto company holding 85% of Trump's stable coin whose CEO was pardoned by Trump. The company is actually Binance. Will also issue a verbal correction in the next episode. My apologies. - T
-
74
"Desperate People Do Desperate Things"
The midterm elections are ten months away...and the regime is in overdrive trying to ensure they don't get held accountable for their collective actions. I don't think we are anywhere close to allowing that to happen. And I've got a challenge for you...are you up for it?Love,-T
-
73
"Courage Will Be Rewarded"
Discussing the heroism of Alex Pretti, Renee Good and the countless other unnamed Minnesotans who have faced assault or worse at the hands of lawless federal agents to bear witness to these agents' abuses of power. Who else needs to step up? Who else can lead? Will the republican party realize continued supplication dooms the nation? Nothing but light-hearted silliness on this episode (sarcasm).Stay Strong, -T
-
72
"Dehumanizing Effects"
The madness in Minnesota continues to escalate. Today is a huge protest and boycott in protest of the federal immigration actions in Minneapolis. Pay close attention to how this unfolds. And don't look away from the horrifying images of the federal terrorists and their actions against peaceful protesters and innocent immigrants just wanting to live a better life here.Love,-T
-
71
"The Forgotten Jack Smith"
HEY! IT'S SEASON TWO!!!Remember the special council appointed to investigate Donald Trump's insurrection influence and theft of classified materials? Some dude named Jack Smith. This guy had Trump on the ropes to the point where a Trump appointed judge had to throw out all precedent regarding the appointment of special councils just to throw out the case...it was open-and-shut. And as for the insurrection involvement, Smith claims he would have secured a conviction in a court of law.And then...well, you know. Also, a threat against Smith in real time just proves how Trump uses the justice department to eliminate his perceived political enemies.-T
-
70
"Continued Atrocities"
In the four days since the last podcast...everything got worse! The continued extrajudicial actions of the federal agents terrorizing Minnesota are making loads of headlines, so naturally the regime is trying to muddy the waters with their mass propaganda machine. Oh, and someone is threatening war with Europe...and it's not Putin.Stay strong, stay safe,-T
-
69
"Pot Committed"
How do you respond to the last ten days of madness? Well, I don't know either, but we've got to find something. Step one is to know what's happening. Step two is determining the response. Step three is acting on it.This episode is definitely about step one.Stay Strong,-T
-
68
"Violence on Video"
It took months, but it has finally happened. The violent and lawless immigration policy of the Trump regime has resulted in an agent shooting a civilian. And there weren't just witnesses, there is video. How do we process our emotions at times like these? Stay safe, stay strong, stay vigilant. Love,-T
-

"2026: Appreciation, Resolve, and Regime Change..."
It's a new year, and with that comes a new resolution. What a crazy first five days we've had, huh? After a wonderful 10 days or so with the family in full family mode, I'm back to talk about grabbing the thread...remembering what's really important in this life. And the criminal regime's illegal activity in Venezuela. Happy New Year! - T

TTO Classic: "How The Grinch Stole Christmas, UNNECESSARY CENSORSHIP VERSION"
Originally recorded 12/22/2021. During the initial TrentTakesOn run, I did special Christmas episodes just for fun. This is one of them.Enjoy my Grinch-y joke!Happy Holidays, my friends!-T
-
65
"What Holiday IS This?"
I have no idea what holiday is attached to December 23rd, but I'm sure it's an amazing one. Trying to bring positivity to a week that featured "60 Minutes" falling apart and the Epstein file release being twisted by Trump's DOJ is quite a task. So in keeping with the season, let the silver linings be many and your holiday have all the cheer you deserve.Take care of one another.Love,-T
-
64
"The Intersection of FA Avenue and FO Boulevard"
Following a tragic weekend, we got a hectic week of news. From Whiskey Pete's war on "narcoterrorists" (not a thing) to Brainworm Bobby's war on science and medicine to the Mad King's war on truth and sanity, things have gotten downright exhausting. The country is cruising down F$&K Around Avenue toward Find Out Boulevard. What happens when we hit the intersection? Pay attention to what happens next.Love,-T
-
63
"In the Face of Tragedy"
This weekend was filled with awful tragedies. How are we expected to continue bearing witness to killings while maintaining our own humanity? How much heartbreak can we endure for no reason whatsoever? How can we help those who desperately need it?Hold each other close and be the best person you can be...it's pretty much all we've got.Love,-T
-
62
"The Unfortunate Nutshell of 2025"
This one is more a temperature check on how we feel as 2025 comes to an unbelievably drawn-out end. This has been the longest 18 years wrapped in 11 months of our collective lives. But there is good news as we look to year 2 of resistance 2.0.With Love,-T
-
61
"A Bit of Wisdom from Grandpa"
In this first of three planned shows this week, I share a piece of wisdom from my grandfather who I miss very much. I also share a bit of personal advice for dealing with your financial institutions.Sure, it's unsolicited...but is it wrong?Take care of each other.-T
-

"Oh the Over-reaction"
Tragedies happen. They are painful. They are unfair. They are often unavoidable. And that would be WHY they are tragedy. In the aftermath of tragedy, we find the character of leaders. This is to say, Mad King Donnie responds poorly to tragedy. He responds poorly to adversity, to criticism, to essentially everything to which a leader must respond. Now watch the over-reaction, it's the clue to what is truly happening. The protestation, the tantrums, the accusations are all projection. Watch closely and be ready.-T*CORRECTION...the Hegseth "Kill Em All" story was in the Washington Post, so I was wrong on both guesses!

"Thankful to Be on the Good Side"
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I'm taking a moment to give all my wonderful listeners a special thanks. Thank you for hanging in there with me. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for fighting the good fight.Stay strong and fight on...we're on the good side.Love,-T
-
58
"Shutdown Frowns and Worn Out Clowns"
The government shutdown is over. The Epstein files are back on the front page. And I'm back to rant it out and fire you up.Get it on!Love,-T
-
57
"Democracy vs. Jay Gatsby (and his peeps)"
There was a big old off-cycle election yesterday in the USA...and according to the Mad King the results were due to his not being on the ballot and the shutdown is bad. Apparently Mr. "I don't take responsibility for anything" is operating in full denial. What else is new?I had a blast with this one! Seriously! Great mood!Love,-T
-
56
"Villagent Self-Care"
It's Halloween, and it's important to be safe, be aware, and try to have fun. Sometimes it's hard to turn down the volume, but self-care in trying times is a must. How do we do it? Can we stay engaged while resting our anxiety? Can Trent keep his train of thought on the tracks between two podcasts essentially recorded back-to-back? The answers might surprise you...Love,-TAs promised, a link to the No Plan No Problem podcast website:https://www.buzzsprout.com/2537875/episodes/18113706

"Let Them Eat Cake...or S#!%...Either Way"
Following the amazing success of the NO KINGS protests over the weekend, the Mad King himself felt he needed to display in many ways why those protests were necessary...and absolutely on-point. From AI generated images of Mad King Donny dumping excrement on his constituents to destroying the entire East Wing of the White House with zero discussion with the people or their representatives, we are witnessing the regime convinced they will never face any accountability.I disagree. Accountability comes for us all.Fight on, fellow resisters.Love,-T
-
54
"Who's the Villain?"
Young me always wanted to be a hero. Protecting the innocent, standing up to villainy, proud of my words and deeds. Maybe I got a little jaded for a bit, but in my older/wiser years I am trying to revert to my younger desire and at least be a sometimes-mediocre sidekick of a quality hero. In this episode, the simple question is asked: how do you know if you're the villain? And I get into the importance of the No Kings movement and extremism in modern America. In a positive(-ish) way. Love,-T
-
53
"The News Ain't What It Used to Be."
A crazy week of news? Yes, lots and lots of crazy news. Now...about how that news gets to us all...it ain't what it used to be.Also: Old man yells at clouds.Love,-T
-
52
"Shut It Down and Other Ways to Stand Your Ground."
Everything from the abuses of ICE to my rent being wrongly charged to a government shutdown to a bible passage to conservation of natural habitats?!?Jam packed like an overstuffed hot pocket, this episode will fill your desire for comfort food while burning your mouth...like every podcast should.Do I go too far? Sometimes, yes. But that's really not for me to decide.Just in time for sweeps week (is that still a thing?)!Also check out my new project No Plan No Problem available wherever TTO is availableLove, -T

"It's the Corruption and Abuse of Power, Stupid."
When James Carville said "It's the economy, stupid", he helped usher in Bill Clinton (and neo-liberalism) and crushed the republican brand for a decade or more forcing them to change tactics. In 2025, I propose we focus on corruption and abuses of power...of which there are literally hundreds of examples. The regime is dripping with self-dealing and underhandedness, not to mention the public middle finger they constantly flaunt at our rule of law. From Kimmel and Comey to ICE raids and being anti-anti-fascist (there's an easier way to say that), to the obvious coverup of the content in Epstein files, the cracks are starting to show.Let's give it a shove, shall we?Love,-T
-

"Inspiration the FCC My Anti-WHAT???"
This episode features a very happy recollection of why I do all of this, followed by an honest discussion on the censorship of the Trump regime and it's threat against ABC/Disney over Jimmy Kimmel Live. And I round it all up with some real talk about the most ineffective domestic terror group ever accused of destroying a country of 340 million people...seriously? How dumb do they think we are? A: very.-Be good humans, people.Love,-T
