# William “Bill” Dudley Disappearance: What Happened After the Halloween Night Fight? Dudley had been drinking and, according to investigators, assaulted his girlfriend before two men intervened. During the fight that followed, one of those men later admitted striking Bill with a baseball bat. Bill was reportedly seen alive afterward, walking back toward his trailer. Then he vanished. Days later, his **wallet, keys, and personal belongings were still inside the trailer**, but Bill was nowhere to be found. He never contacted his mother again, no confirmed sighting ever surfaced, and his remains have never been recovered. More than three decades later, law enforcement continues to investigate Bill Dudley’s disappearance as a cold case and has said foul play is suspected.
