A club song inspired by French Touch movement

It's the 13th Friday in a row I'm publishing my #FridayTracks. Today let me introduce you to this dancing song I made for a concert using old samples from an ancient project, especially this guitar loop that made me crazy and those melodic vibes percussion. All the synths and bass are coming from my antique MicroKorg. I used to play this one a lot in concert, performing the "Vibraphone" part on my own, so if you see me live recently, you probably have already heard this!

Will you go out this weekend ? Go dancing ? This #FridayTrack is definitely designed for dancefloors. I started working on this funky house beats two years ago at https://soundcloud.com/native-cell's place in Laval, playing with the bass loop. As the bass line was looping well I put some DX7 chords on it and asked Billel Mansouri to add some funky guitars. I finally add some Yamaha Reface CS keys and a 2nd bass line this week to finish it. Let's go dancing!

The end of the week is coming, I'm off to the FME, having a show with https://soundcloud.com/soggybeard, but I don't forget it's time for the #FridayTrack. And this one is the reason why music's always about meeting people and sharing creativity with them. I was recording in July with Mr Colfer for his project when we met https://soundcloud.com/elmntmusic and https://soundcloud.com/truwayz working together in another Ausgang Studio. After a couple of freestyles between the two MCs, we directly think about recording a track to immortalize the moment. I offered a beat and we recorded all in one take. Mr Colfer also create the artwork.

The song of the day is this progressive Hip-hop beats with Asian influences that I used to play live in a more long version. This was my first track using Max for Live, an opened door to another world. Enjoy your week end. #FridayTrack

Made this weekend in Paris using mostly a kick sound and Usine 7 field recording. Contain an excerpt from MTL Street Trumpet.

My contribution to the Kick Fight IV Détournement. The rules are: we had to compose a 3 minutes track out of a single kick drum sample in 24h. No more sample or synth (even virtual) and no external plugin. Made on Ableton 9 with basic plugins and a single 808 kick as sample. More works here: @kickfightcontest
