This town ain't big enough for the two of us. Or should I say this town ain't big enough for more than one nostalgic film podcast where 3 (mostly white) guys (in their late 30's) talk about movies they mostly remember enjoying, but then they watch it and it's a bummer how much they hate the movie. Luckily that doesn't happen with this movie. In fact we really like this one! We also get into a violent orgy of violence because it's the old west (of podcasting) and we do that thing where im on a balcony and I get shot and I go ughhhh and clutch my chest and do a sick stunt fall off the balcony onto the ground. I guess what I'm getting at is enjoy the episode of the 2007 classic 3:10 To Yuma.

As the number one catholic cinema podcast it was only a matter of time before we covered this one, and we gotta say. We might become the number one Islamic podcast after this. That being said, did we enjoy this? not really. Did it lower our opinion of Ridley scott? Unfortunatley maybe a bit. Will it stop us from giving you an in depth, detailed analysis of the film? Yeah, to be honest we kind of get bored 30 minutes in and pit the two brothers of Ridley and Tony together and figure out who's the better brother once and for all. Stick around though! its still a really fun episode! or it isnt. I dont care man it's not like god is real anyway. leave me alone.

So, this episode is a little different. Sometimes you have to put fighting for the fate of the world on hold, throw on your finest bikini, let your jugs bounce around, and head to the beach. Heroes get tired too, you know? With that being said, we have a fun conversation about the movies currently in theaters and the role nostalgia plays in modern filmmaking. Is nostalgia just a playground for Gen X and Boomers, or do Millennials get to join in on the fun too? We also take a look back at what was playing in theaters and what was hitting DVD shelves in June 2005. It's a laidback episode that we had a blast recording, and we hope you enjoy listening to it. Is this coming out on a thursday instead of a wednesday? Obviously, it wouldnt be punk for it to come out on our normal day. Oh yeah we're punk now. I flip cops off underneath a table so they cant see me, but they know I'm doing it and they're pissed about it. They know it's not technically illegal meaning there's nothing they can do about it. Yeah... I'm kind of a badass. Thats why we decided SLC Punk! was the perfect movie to talk about. A movie about how being punk is the coolest thing you can do, and there's no underlying message that might actually critisize the punk lifestyle. If you think there's something like that in this movie? guess what, youre a damn poser. Also if you don't listen to this episdode and enjoy it as well as comment on it wherever podcasts are found??
