Two birds make  a nest

This story is about a girl called Chuskit who could not walk or run. since birth, she did not use her legs. But she has a desire to go to school like other children. She always sits near the window and draws pictures. One day her father bought a wheelchair for her. Chuskit was very happy at that moment. she learnt to use that wheelchair. Chuskit’s school is not very far from her village but we have to take the big road and then walk along the lake. Cross the river near the poplar trees, and then after a small climb, we reach the school. One day Abdul came to her house with a letter when he saw her, he asked, “why you did not go to school”?. Chuskit said, “I could not walk or run my father has to carry me all the way to school daily” Abduld replied, but would you want to go to school if you could? Chuskit said, yes, of course. Abdul conveyed this to his headmaster. The next day all children of that village began to level the road, another group of children leveled the area near the river. The older children took help from the teacher to build a wooden bridge across the river. All of them worked happily to make her dream come true. But the happiest of all was Chuskit.

Once there was a village a farmer lived with his wife he had some puppies. He needed to sell his puppies because he was in need of money. So he prepared a signboard “Puppies for sale” while he was erecting the signboard in front of his house someone is pulling his trouser from behind. He turned and saw a little boy aged 9 years standing there. The farmer asked him, what can I do for you? The boy said, dear farmer, I want a puppy. The farmer asked him, do you have money? The boy took out some pennies from his pocket and said, is this enough to look at the puppies? I will come back later with my parents to buy them. The farmer was amazed by his words and agreed to show him the puppies. He asked someone to open the door. Suddenly all the puppies rushed out of the kennel. The boy struck his face on the fence and look at the lovable creatures. While he was noticing all the puppies, there was one puppy who was hobbling and trying hard to catch up with others. Suddenly the boy told the farmer I want that puppy. The last one. The farmer knee down and said, no boy, you don’t need that. His hip bone is missing so he could not able to play with other puppies and you won’t enjoy with him. At that moment tears rolled from his eyes, he bent and roll over one of his trousers and showed the farmer something. On one of his legs, he had was steel braces that were attached to the specially made shoes. The boy again told the farmer, I want that puppy only because he needs someone who understands. The farmer agreed to it. He handed over the puppy to him. The boy asked the farmer, how much sir? The farmer said, no charge for it. The boy replied, no sir, I will pay the same cost of other puppies? The boy immediately rushed to his house and opened his piggy bank but the money was not enough. So he asked his father, do you have some money to buy a puppy? His father replied to him, yes have this. Happily, the boy went to the farmer and bought the puppy. He was extremely happy to hold a puppy in his hand. Soon they became friends.

In this story a girl called Neha who always loves to sleep longer in the morning. One day when she is sleeping alarm clock rings at 06.00 AM she covered her face with a pillow and started to sleep suddenly the alarm clock falls down. The next day there is no alarm clock but the small birds make chirping sound on the window sill, Neha couldn’t sleep she asked the birds to go away. The next morning Neha is sleeping for long time there is no alarm clock, no chirping birds but the sun rays fell on her face Neha couldn’t sleep, she asked the sun to go away. The next morning there is no alarm clock, no chirping birds, no sun but her mother calling to wake up to catch the school bus she couldn’t sleep. The next day there is no alarm clock, no chirping birds, no sun her mother didn’t call her but she wake up automatically and goes to her mother and asked who woke me up, mother said, it’s you dear. Neha said, but I was sleeping mom, Mother replied, why do you eat your lunch at noon and sleeps at night, Neha said, because I feel hungry and sleepy mom. Mother replied like that there is a clock inside which tells you when to sleep, when to eat and when to wake up. From that day she woke up at 06.00 AM and catches the school bus on time. At the end of this story children learns the importance of time, and appreciates the beauty of the nature.

This is a story about a flock of wild geese which lives happily at the top of the tree among the flock one bird was wise old bird. One day that wise old bird noticed a creeper at the foot of the tree and conveyed this to its flock. But the young birds didn’t respond to it and leave that issue as it is. The creeper grew stronger and stronger and began winding its way up the tree. One morning when the flock went out for fodder a hunter came to the forest and climbed up the tree and spread his nest over there then he climbed down and went away. When the geese returned home in the evening they didn’t notice the net as they flew into the tree they were trapped. The wise bird said, I told you to destroy the creeper but you did not, now you see what happened? Tomorrow morning the hunter will come back and kill us all. Oh! “We’re foolish” replied the geese. “Don’t worry you are my family,” replied the wise bird. Then listen carefully when the hunter come back we all must pretend to be dead just lie still. The hunter will not want dead birds so he will throw us to the ground then it will be easy for him to climb down and collect the dead birds, and take them home. When the last of us has been thrown down we must quickly get up and fly away. The next morning the hunter came to the forest and climbed up the tree he looked at the geese in the net. “They are all dead” he muttered to himself. He threw them out of the net one by one. The birds lay still until the last one had been thrown down. Then, all at once, got up, flapped their wings and flew away. He watched all the geese fly away from the top of the tree. At the end of this story children learnt to collaborate more with others, work as a team, respect elders and do work on time.
