We believe that God is there, that He loves us and will bring us safely through whatever life throws our way. That's why we can make u-turns when necessary with confidence and not fear. A Communal Lament After An Awful Week
Today's sermon comes after a violent week in America in which two black men were killed by police, and 5 police officers were killed and 7 wounded by a sniper during a peace rally/protest in Dallas. We felt the need to hear God's Word for us this day in a special way. We are doing a summer series on the Psalms, and so we chose to listen to a Psalm of communal lament on this day. We chose Psalm 60.
