Uncourted: An ACOTAR Podcast

In this episode we cover THREE chapters in which Feyre and the boys venture back to the mortal lands below the wall. Nesta continues to suck, we have the most awkward dinner imaginable, and Feyre doesn't fit in. Somehow Azriel comes out being the most civilized in the whole venture.

In today's episode, Rhys sends Feyre on quite a questionable trip to a cottage in the middle of a terrifying wood to obtain..... a ring? Em and Cam discuss the morals of our favorite bat boy, the classic fairytale energy of the Weaver's innocent-looking trap, and Ianthe's increasingly sus energy.

In this juicy episode of Uncourted we delve deep into the mountain to come face to illusory face with the Bone Carver. Em starts conspiracy theorizing again (sorry for the Throne of Glass spoiler moments) and of course everything about the Cauldron is real. Macbeth moment for Feyre, and a new title for her as well as a new title of a new creature yet to be met: the Weaver.

Lore lore lore! This is an episode of lore dropping, awkward family dinner, and new characters joining our cast. We discuss proper storage of swords, unfortunate barbarianism, and much more in this extra long episode.

Covering chapters 14 and 15 this week we officially begin PART TWO of ACOMAF, the House of Wind. New guys unlocked, Feyre has a lot to reconcile with, and what does it all mean that there is a secret city that Rhysand personally kept protected through Amarantha's reign? We do NOT miss Tamlin right now, that's for sure.

Uhhhhhh so that was bad right? This was crazy? A lot to unpack here and none of it is good.

So Tamlin somehow got worse? We called last episode the oof episode and it got worse! In this episode we witness Tamlin's actual magic explosion and Feyre's spiral into worse depression. Time to go back to Night Court with Rhys who is kind of losing his mind at how bad Feyre looks.

In this episode covering chapters 7-8, Rhys explains his series of L's trying to catch the Suriel, and probably war is coming (and he's not starting it!). A series of unfortunate Tamlin oofs unfold. Tamlin goes back to forbidding Feyre from doing anything and the tithe is upon us.

Welcome to the Night Court everyone! This might be the most iconic Feyre moment yet in these chapters, we get a true SJM Marvel moment, and Rhys is just as shitty and needly as ever. Turns out, Night Court not so scary?If you heard us answering the same listener question a second time, no you didn't shush.

In this episode we cover the thrilling developments of Feyre's guilt, PTSD, and the wedding that she clearly does not want. In fact, it seems like no one really cares what she wants! Surprise dramatic entrance by Rhys, to ruin (save?) the day.

And welcome to a new season, new logo, a new book, a new series of problems for Feyre (and old ones still waiting in the wings). We pick up three months later in the timeline after the horrors of under the mountain and Feyre vomits a lot, she's engaged and unhappy about it, and Tamlin's bestie Ianthe is here to help with all things wedding. Where is Rhys and why hasn't he collected on his deal?

In this final episode concluding A Court of Thorns and Roses (we made it!), we witness Feyre's bizarre out of body experience, Fae resurrection rituals, and Feyre becomes a baby deer. The book ends, and we have questions left unanswered. But don't worry, we will immediately jump to the next book for the next episode!

In this penultimate episode of ACOTAR we get the angst of the final task, the drama of Tamlin's true curse at last revealed, and the question on all our minds: where is Lucien? We are almost at the end! How are we almost at the end?

Only one chapter for this one, but it sure is a Juicy (TM) one. There's making out in this one! Chapter 42 gets Feyre's paint all messed up and Rhysand surprisingly opens up to Feyre a little bit after protecting her from Amarantha.

We have reached the second task in this episode and get to enjoy Feyre freaking out and Lucien being a poor little meow meow. It's everything we've ever wanted. Rhys is surprisingly helpful! Until he is gross...

In today's episode of Uncourted, Feyre exits the world of Beauty and the Beast and becomes Cinderella instead with her simple house chores under threat of torture. Everyone including Rhys is confused about the lentils. We get to see Rhysand's beastly form then we get to see all of Feyre's naked form. Another rule broken!

In this episode of Uncourted, Feyre faces her first task! Kill a Middengard Worm, no big deal. While the faeries all take bets on her survival, she gets a horrific injury only to have to deal with Rhys, our favourite OC with purple orbs and cloaked in shadows.

This is the one where it's the ballad of Tam Lin because an evil queen is forcing Feyre to prove her love via three tasks. Clare is pinned to the wall and Jurian is here as an eyeball and a bone. Welcome to hell! Did you solve the riddle?

After months and months of detective work, comparing notes, connecting red strings, putting puzzle pieces together and searching for a solution, we can all say it: Emily was right. The lore is revealed, the curse is bound, the queen is real. Alis tells all and Feyre goes under the mountain. The moment you have all been waiting for!

In this episode we cover the chapters where Feyre is stuck back in boring human land, but Nesta remembers everything. Is Nestea lowkey an icon? Highkey Feyre put a whole family in danger so L for her on this one. The PLOT is kicking off everyone!

WE RECORDED IN PERSON. We sweat for you to make this happen. Horny energy to evil horny energy, and then back to horny again with our very first sex scene in the series. This is the part in beauty and the beast where Feyre is set free and Nesta is go girl give us nothing upon her return.

Epic lows and epic highs as we read these chapters. Feyre opens her eyes to all the gaslighting, I mean, glamours that have been done to her, and then a head is delivered to them courtesy of Night Court. We get the romance of summer solstice and the sexiness of Tamlin playing a fiddle to make up for the whole severed head incident though!

In this episode we cover the post nut clarity after Feyre wakes up with a bruise on her neck, and she finally wears a dress, and then what happens when our main man Tamlin takes Feyre to... a meadow? On a date? Sounds like Twilight!

In this episode of Uncourted, it's all about fae sex magic. It is finally time for Calanmai, aka Fire Night, aka the one where Tamlin is feral and everyone wants to get down and dirty outside. We meet the "most beautiful" mystery night man, Lucien Twilight runs, and Tamlin bites Feyre.

This is the episode that changes everything because Feyre can't paint. From intimate meetings in the rose garden, to limericks in the forest, it is almost time for Calanmai. What or who is an attor?

In this episode of Uncourted, we wish we were getting day drunk with Lucien on his picnic blanket while Tamlin finally puts the Romance into the Romantasy. Today we unlocked Lucien's tragic backstory, and Feyre gets to have a half naked swim with Tamlin. Also Lucien is on THIN FUCKING ICE.

In this episode of Uncourted, Emily was wrong. And Feyre was wrong too! The truth about the relationship between Fae and mortals comes out, Lucien offers a non apology for the Suriel incident, and Feyre and Tamlin actually flirt? Sorry the romantasy had to be interrupted by a blue Faerie bleeding out.

We read chapters 14 and 15 this week. It's in the title. There's poop talk in this one. Also THE THEORIES ARE ONLY GROWING. King of Hybern? The Deceiver? The Suriel is giving us so much delicous juice.

This is the episode where Cameron and Emily turn into art critics for several minutes straight to interrogate the exposition mural in the study. Why was Feyra's family so awful to her, and why is Lucien appearing to offer her help? And yes! We only covered 1 chapter we prommy next one will be 2 again!

The energy we have created in the studio for this episode has a lot of poop mentions but at least we got lots of lore drops! While Tamlin hunts the boogie man, sorry the bogge, Feyre has nightmares about literally skinning a whole man. Between the lore and the obvious beauty and the beast inspo, Emily is certain to be honing in on the truth of the nature of this curse and Tamlin is for sure a high lord.

In this episode we are connecting more red strings and learning more about Tamlin's court and fae powers. Lucien is NOT a fox?? But even more importantly we have to meet the boogie man, sorry the "Bogge" which is definitely code for the boogie man. Also Tamlin is a little jealous bitch that Feyre went to hang out with Lucien instead of him.

We read chapters 7 and 8 of ACOTAR and we are fully in it now baby! Cam and Em discuss how old they would want their fae lover to be, and Feyre wants to eat cake. Big lore drops add to Emily's growing red string theory about a curse BECAUSE THERE IS ONE! And who are these invisible giggling fae following Feyre around in the gardens?

In episode 2 of Uncourted, we make it to Prythian and the Spring Court! Emily starts spinning her big brained Beauty and the Beast theories. Lucien is a treat and Feyra is suspicous. Why do they all have masks!
