Update, March 5
"The body's decline creeps like a vine." My decision not to have chemo may have been bold, but it also creates a lot of fear. I'm now in a weeping stage. Fear of the unknown, walking the path of the warrior, uncontrolled crying, now I'm really lost in the dark woods.

The big decision has been made. I'm not going to take any chemo. What will become of me? I probably won't live over a year and a half to two years. Could be more. Could be less. No one knows for sure.

It's my birthday and I'm trying to decide whether or not to have any chemotherapy to control the spreading cancer.

I resigned from teaching. That's a big deal for me, a life-long teacher. I don't want to quit, but the time is here.
