Steven and Wayne go to the first beer festival of 2025, Woodstock 2025! Lots of new breweries and beer plus some of our best friends in the area were there. Listen and make plans to be at Woodstock 2026! 

Wayne preps for a much needed Florida  vacation and Steven has a work related trip at the same time. While Steven is at a local pub in Wisconsin he runs into Mark from Appleton Beer Factory and Mark introduces him to the local brewery scene. When the Boys gets back to South Carolina they share the brews they brought back!

For the first episode of 2025- due to the delays of life for the Boys- Steven and Wayne head to Segra Field in Columbia SC for the Crafted in Carolina Beer Festival hosted by the South Carolina Brewers Guild. Make plans to be at the fest in 2025!!

In preparation for the Holiday season the Boys head to Boiling Springs and chat with Jonathan and Josh from New Groove Artisan Brewing about Black Fridays release of Missed Your Plane 2024, New Years Eve and Woodstock 2025, plus gain some knowledge along the way!

For the 2nd year in a row,  The Boys have been invited down to Augusta to cover the Augusta Craft Beer Festival. This year Wayne had to work, so Steven takes us on a journey to see which breweries came and also got feedback from the festival goers. Download, listen and share!

The Boys venture down to Piedmont and meet up with Tribble at Tribble's Bar & Grill and talk about the looming insurance crisis affecting breweries, bars, restaurants and the like here in South Carolina. 

The Boys head to Boiling Springs for Woodstock 2024....well Wayne was late due to his day job. Steven runs into old friends and make some new ones, then once Wayne gets there things pick up for sure! During an afternoon off of work Steven stops by Lowes Foods on Pelham road in Greenville SC for the Burial tap takeover and runs into our good friend Ditti and others. In the final event for the Boys in 2023, Steven and Wayne head to Fluor Field in downtown Greenville to have some fun and meet with the fine folks at Savannah River Brewing, Holy City Brewing, Southern Barrel Brewing, Fizza, Thomas Creek Brewery, Voodoo Brewing and Pangaea Brewing. The Boys had a busy holiday season with family but we will be bringing you some awesome content here in 2024! Thanks to John Sharkey and the Greenville Craft Beer Festival!!

Wayne takes a ride down to Junction 800 in Columbia to the Hop Forward- Best of SC Craft Beer Festival thanks to the South Carolina Brewers Guild while Steven enjoys Family Fun Day at his Fire Station. The Boys take a hike over to Stone Avenue in downtown Greenville to visit Chad and Brewmaster John of Tetrad Brewing Company where family and the power of four makes Tetrad a mainstay in the community and craft beer scene in the Upstate South Carolina area. A episode almost 2 years in the making!

The Boys head back to Habitap and assist Candice with another fabulous brew day! The Cold One with the Boys Cold IPA was successful on its first go round that we wanted to do it again, but Candice being the mastermind she is added a little twist. We can't wait till its ready to pour in our glasses!

Steven & Wayne take a short ride to Boiling Springs SC and see their good friends Jonathan and Josh from New Groove Artisan Brewing for Crispi Fest 2023. While there they meet some new peeps and run into a couple old friends too! Special thanks to Jonathan and Josh for letting us in!

Wayne the Sage takes a little trek up Highway 221 to Chesnee, South Carolina and chats with Arnie of Outside Influence Brewing at their soft opening and gives a preview of what to expect at the brewery. 

Steven and Wayne take a trip up to Asheville, North Carolina- not to brewery hop (thats for another time) but to learn what a malt house is. Brent from Riverbend Malt House gives the Boys a tour and then sits down and gives us the history and inner workings. As an added bonus Shawn joins the interview not as the owner of Plankowner Brewing but as the Sales rep for the Carolinas for Riverbend. Check it out!

This week's adventure finds the Mayor & the Sage taking a short trip to Piedmont SC to a hidden gem of the Upstate SC craft beer scene- Golden Grove Farm & Brew. Andrew shares some Cold Beer, stories of how Golden Grove came about, and all the things they have to offer which is more than most breweries- beer, cider, pizza, wings, disc golf, music, fishing pond etc. Talk about #SupportLocal ! Grab a cold one and sit a spell and enjoy the conversation! 

This weeks adventure finds the Boys in a familiar yet different place- Bullwinkle's Tavern in Five Forks SC. Once they get there they find out there is a bottle share going on!

The Boys take a ride out Highway 153 to Highway 123 and follow the Orange Paws to Kite Hill Brewing Company- Clemson's First Craft Brewery! Episode 41 finds Steven trekking down to Columbia where he joins Eddie and Eddie 2.0 from Clocktower Taproom at Columbia's oldest craft brewery, River Rat Brewing where they brew Eddie's latest collaboration - 1700 American IPA! They chat with Tony & Katie from River Rat about brewing the beer and what River Rat's about, and also chat with special guest Chase aka Nutmeg2Palmetto!
