Happy Easter!!! Jesus came in to the world to be a light into the darkness. He came in to remove our darkness and with his sacrifice we become new. No longer darkness but now light to shine among others still in darkness.     Main Text: John 1:1-5

Hosea 3:1-5 God can Redeem us were we are in our life.  He loves us in our sinful state and brings us home to be obedience through our relationship. 

Week 2 of Hosea. The love of God is Real and Personal. Through our obedience and disobedience effects our relationship with God. In Hosea, we see God will not hold us to a relationship we do not want but, will welcome us to come home. 

A God who never changes. One who keeps a promise and One who is just and merciful. Both Old and New Testament lets us see who God is and his Love for his people.    Hosea 14:9, is a great reminder to not just hear these words but allow them to change us. 

This series will help Valley take up the challenge of “21 Days of Fasting and Prayer.” Prayer and fasting—along with a whole array of spiritual disciplines—draw us closer to God. Time spent in undivided attention to God reminds us that God and only God is God. Christ alone saves. Only the Spirit brings life. Recognizing this, we respond in gratitude, by taking the time and by doing whatever it is that makes sense to us to love God in return. The spiritual discipline of prayer can be practiced in dozens of ways, leaving us no reason to disobey the command to "pray without ceasing." Guest Speaker: Jacob McCaslin We are called to experience and share the love of God. How we treat each other comes from our relationship with God. We are called not to be Cain but to live like Abel.

The gathering of Angels and Shepherds were more then an announcement of Jesus' birth. It was a picture of who he was and what he was going to bring.

We are on a war with others, ourselves and God. How can we be at peace.

Two types of Wisdom in life. One comes from above and the other is earthly. We are called to live in the one from above. This wisdom is knowing and understanding Christ.

James 2:14-26 The Question: What good is Faith without Deeds? The Answer: Useless.

James 2:1-13. We are to not judge others and favor one group over the other. For we are to Love are neighbor and if we can't then are we really of Christ.

Daniel 7   Don't miss the message of Christ worrying about the chaos of the world.

Daniel 6 Like Daniel we need to leave for God even when no one is watching. Our faithful service brings glory to God.

There will be a judgement day for our days are numbered on this earth and our actions/responds to God’s message will be weighed and there will be Death or life.

Why is a testimony and sharing the gospel so important? Daniel 4 a life changed by the Gospel.

Are we ok with knowing he is able and what he does is right, even if it is not what we want.   Do we have an Even If faith?

A God of Hope. ‌A Kingdom that is not by Man. A Kingdom that Has no Boarder.‌ A Kingdom all we need.   ‌

We have a God who is active and dwells with us and we can go to him  for wisdom and understanding.  We have an Active God, who wants us presence and rejoicing in his presents.

Finishing up VBS for the day with a great cook out and celebration. God has invited us to a great feast and celebration. Are we going to accept and prepare for the feast?
