For episode #038, I chat with JJ "Saugy" Saugstad, also known as "Saugy." After following Gary for years and feeling the positive impact of the flip life, Saugy stumbled into a Fanatics Live stream in October 2023. Not knowing a thing about VeeFriends, Saugy bought his first Series 2 box on Ebay on positive energy, intuition, and conviction in Gary. Roughly a month later, Saugy purchased a Series 1 box and pulled a 1/1 Bubble Gum Very, Very, Very, Very Lucky Black Cat card on a livestream in front of the community. It was the first time a spectacular card of the official VeeFriends logo was seen publicly and it sent shockwaves through the VeeFriends card community. Since then, Saugy has become an supportive pillar for many of the independent streamers within the community and a poster boy for how to the VeeFam supports each other.
