S2E11 Use of Cannabis in Veterinary Patients with Dr. Kim Lambert

Welcome back listeners! On this episode of Vet Sessions, Dr. Tiffany Durzi sat down with OVC graduate and Associate Registrar to the CVO, Dr. Kim Lambert. Dr. Lambert is a member of the quality practice team where she assists veterinarians in maintaining and improving their knowledge and skills throughout their careers. One question that she commonly gets asked is how should veterinarians approach discussing the use of cannabis products with pet owners. Here, we discuss everything veterinarians need to know prior to having these conversations including the legal aspects, which products are available, and safety standards to look out for. After listening, we hope you feel better equipped to handle these discussions in the future!
