This is a follow-up to the challenge I put out there in episode four about getting over the fear of rejection. If you haven’t listened to that episode yet, I encourage you to do so. I took on this challenge myself and went to a networking event that left me excited, energized, and more comfortable talking to people about my business. I’ll also share the results of another challenge I took on.

This week our discussion starts with a helpful tip for those who use Apple products and how you can make the cord last longer. I also overhead a conversation this week that made me think about how quick we are to come up reasons why the advice we are given won’t work. So I have a challenge to change the way we respond to and apply the good advice we are given. Finally, I’ll share some of my own advice about why it’s important to get really specific about who your clients are.

Referrals are important for helping your business grow, but there are times when it’s best to say “no” to a prospective client. In this episode, we’ll discuss three reasons why you may not want to take on a client and how to politely decline a request for your services. This got me thinking about how many of us have a fear of rejection and how we need to get over this because it's holding us back in a lot of ways!
