As one that has had many conflicts with the MacArthurites, I must admit that God greatly used this man. People will use this to bash his legacy, but this isnt the time for that.

Assisted my pastor on his visitation trips. And recently lost my grandmother.

In class, the term semi-pelagian came up. Various convos started concerning Arminians.

Dr Lawson had to step down recently due to sin. Though he isn’t part of my tradition & I do not follow his ministries … it impacted me b/c of my journey to be a pastor.

Finished paper on Creed. In history, the identity of the faith changed. Once Xtian obtained a since of respect & was persecuted less … things changed a little

The Apostles creed, how important is it? Why was it written?

A rough week in class … but we cover 4 branches f theology & the concept of a “servant leader”

In class we discuss how a pastor should be involved in community. This notion rubbed me the wrong way at first, but he does have a point. Also, being ready to give a defense to people who create their own god & mask it as Christianity

In week 1 of seminary we talk about preconceived notions that we apply over the text. Understanding the “actual” context of the times less to a better understanding & accurate view of text. Historical Theology
