Looking back to our 8 years spent at Fountain View Fitness Center, we are so grateful for all of the blessings God has given us as a church. When we forgive it opens the gospel and when we don't forgive it tends to hurt others. Gorgiveness replaces sorrow with joy. 2 Corinthians 2:8 is a testimony to how we deal with "chipped windshields." The sacrifice of the Passover was a symbol of forginveness, of which God would forgive those who put the blemish-less blood of the lamb on their door post. The world always makes us doubt with Satan's famous question, "Did God really say?" We will never understand what happens in this world without understanding Jesus who came to intersect the world. Everthing within the Bible points to Jesus which is why our interpretation of him is accurate, due to the validation of God in the Bible. This Sunday, we dive into how we can can wake up to either myths or Jesus. The world tends to push everyone to "wake up" to the evolving agenda. Peter stressed how urgent waking up is because Jesus told him how long he had left to live out his callings for his life. Jesus has risen from the dead! So what? This Easter Sunday we discover why the fact that Jesus has risen is important. Jesus raised from the dead so that we could see with understanding how our lives changed forever ever since that day on. We are meant to see Jesus and believe. Ever wonder if you faith matches up? Peter, the apostle, begins his letter to brand new Christians by stating clearly that their faith is as valid as his own- equal to his. It is and incredible though to know that the faith we receive from Jesus to live for Jesus is on par with the disciples' own faith. Do we trust God enough to handle those who wronged us? Hurt is bound to happen, but the way in which we deal with it determines who we trust. Our lives are a harbor, ships of hurt come in frequently, but its up to us whether or not we deal with it or let it stay. In order to truly rid our lives of pain, we have to release it all to God.
