This is the last track of the album Translucid. It might be the start of a new year, but I wanted to go back. I wanted to go back to the golden age of Trance Music, in the mid 2000's, when everything had an analog feel to it, and when the loudness war did not exist. That was the time when I got introduced to this genre, about 10 years ago. This track reflects the sound of that time, but also the one of my early work. "Donkey Kong Country 2 on the Gameboy Advance has been one of my most played games and one of my all time favorites. One of the things that made this game a great one is the soundtracks. Composed by the famous David Wise, this atmospheric and ambient music added an important element when playing in this virtual world. My favorite song of them all is "Stickerbrush Symphony", which is also the most iconic track of this series. Interesting arrangements and interesting details formed the perfect ingredients for a bootleg. So here it is, in Progressive House form, in 2017, I brought back memories from my childhood, and hopefully I did the same to yours."
