Jeff continues our series on ‘Storms’ by looking at one of the most famous Christian holidays: Pentecost. Imagine what it was like when a heavenly windstorm surrounded by flames of fire descended upon the disciples. It created such a commotion that people were gathering from all over the city and the result? A Spirit-empowered and Spirt-emboldened witness to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of Pentecost, we are promised to be filled with God’s presence & power, and this compels us to be ‘Joining God’s Mission Transforming All Things.’

Do you have ‘fair-weather faith?’ Jesus taught us that in this life, storms will come. The differentiator isn’t the strength of the storm coming against us or even the frequency — but Jesus said that those who build their life with God by listening & following will experience great wisdom, like someone who has built their home on bedrock. Does your faith survive the storm or does it only show up with the skies are clear and the wind is calm? Listen in as Jeff continues our series by exploring a life of wisdom.

Thankfully, because of God’s great love He promises to rescue us from this pit of despair and consequently, one of our most natural responses is to Praise Him and Tell Others.
