Awards Season reaches its peak this weekend and with a record 16 nomination we thought we would discuss the 2025 ‘Sinners’ that’s crosses both the horror and musical genres. Set in 1932 Mississippi, Michael B Jordan stars as twins Smoke and Stack who have returned from Chicago to open a Juke Joint. Get the popcorn ready and tune in! We don’t pop our cork for every film we see but this episode is a Big Spender as we discuss the 1969 musical comedy ‘Sweet Charity’. Shirley MacLaine plays the eternally optimistic protagonist Shirley Hope Valentine who has her shares of romantic misfortunes in New York. If only our friends could see us now!
