Episode 4 - Hoover First Edition
Hoover High School's First Edition band played alongside some of the top high school bands in the world in 2025, performing as a finalist in the Essentially Ellington festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center. In January 2026, First Edition will perform in New Orleans at the Jazz Education Network's annual conference. On this episode of Voices of Jazz, we'll hear from several musicians in the 2025-26 band, along with director Sallie Vines White.
