Rabbit Holes I EP 74
We’re back with another episode of the Wasted Wagons Podcast, and this one takes us all over the map!We kick things off with the FIFA World Cup, sharing our thoughts on the tournament as a whole and discussing Spain emerging victorious. Of course, where there’s FIFA, there’s usually some controversy, so we also dive into the latest scandal surrounding FIFA President Gianni Infantino and his failed plan to sell a portion of the World Cup to private investors. From there, we switch gears to American football and take a look at the latest New Orleans Saints training camp news. There’s some good, there’s some bad, and naturally, we have plenty to say about all of it.Then it’s time for some baseball, as the Dodgers once again made the biggest headlines at the MLB trade deadline, landing two-time Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal from the Twins. That blockbuster move leads us into a much bigger conversation about the reaction from baseball fans to the way the Dodgers operate, whether Major League Baseball needs a salary cap, and the growing possibility of an MLB strike that seems to be looming on the horizon. We step away from sports for a bit as Todd talks about a few TV shows that have caught his attention lately, Patrick confesses to actually watching a recent movie, and Todd brings us home with a discussion about one of his favorite things: rabbit holes. As always, like, comment, subscribe, and follow the Wasted Wagons Podcast wherever you listen!🎧 Listen to us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts📺 Watch us on YouTube👍 Like the episode, leave us a comment, and let us know what you think! Thanks for listening, and as always... stay wasted, my friends!

Small Craft Advisory: Busch Light Apple
Trendy? Absolutely. Good? Well...we were just as surprised as you might be.On this edition of Small Craft Advisory, the crew cracks open Busch Light Apple, a beer that came with some pretty low expectations. Instead of the train wreck we were preparing for, we found ourselves saying, "You know what...this isn't bad."No one is planning to stock the garage fridge with party packs anytime soon, but as a one-and-done beer, Busch Light Apple delivered a surprisingly enjoyable experience. The fresh apple aroma is immediately noticeable, and that flavor carries through each sip more than we expected. In fact, it drinks much closer to a crisp cider than a traditional lager, making it an easy option for anyone looking for something a little different.Could this be the most pleasantly surprising beer we've reviewed in a while? Tune in to hear everyone's scores, reactions, and whether Busch Light Apple earned more respect than anyone thought it would. If you enjoy our beer reviews and the laughs that come with them, be sure to follow and subscribe wherever you listen! Find us on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, and don't forget to like, comment, and share the episode with your fellow craft beer (and Busch Light Apple) enthusiasts. Cheers!

Tonic...Tonic...Help Us God I EP 73
The guys are back with another episode full of sports, stories, and plenty of laughs at Patrick's expense. We kick things off with Patrick and Dylan reliving their recent kickball showdown, including Patrick's unforgettable (and expensive) moment on the field that everyone else enjoyed far more than he did. From there, the conversation shifts to Father's Day as everyone shares the gifts they received and the celebrations with their families. On the sports side, we break down the USA Men's National Team advancing out of the World Cup group stage and preview their knockout round matchup against Bosnia and Herzegovina. We also give our thoughts on the recent NHL Draft before diving into the Brendan Sorsby saga. With the NFL deciding not to hold a supplemental draft in 2026, Sorsby is now set to sit out the entire season before becoming eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft. What does it mean for his future, and did the league make the right call?As always, the sports talk eventually gives way to more personal stories. Mike throws Patrick a complete curveball, leading to yet another hilarious "L" as Patrick reveals what happened to him earlier in the day before the car show he and Mike attended. We wrap things up with Todd looking for some advice as his home renovation continues and some major decorating decisions still need to be made.Be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and follow us on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and all your favorite social media platforms so you never miss an episode!

Small Craft Advisory: Deep Brewing Sublime Keylime
This week's Small Craft Advisory was a wild one as we went LIVE on TikTok to review Deep Brewing's Sublime Keylime Sour – Berliner Weisse, and let's just say... opinions were anything but unanimous. The big question of the night: How sour is too sour? For Travis, Todd, and Mike, this beer blasted right past that line. Between the... distinct aroma and an intensely tart flavor, this one was a tough sell. On the other hand, Patrick and Russell found plenty to enjoy, proving that every beer's taste is subjective. With scores ranging from surprisingly high to the lowest rating in Small Craft Advisory history, this review is one you won't want to miss. Whether you're a fan of puckering sours or can't stand them, this episode delivers plenty of laughs, spirited debate, and one of our most divisive beer reviews yet.Be sure to follow us on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts, and subscribe on YouTube for full video reviews, live streams, and plenty more beer-fueled fun!

Deux Neuf, McNuggets I EP 71
The fallout has begun... and Patrick isn't exactly looking forward to what's coming after the Avalanche vs. Golden Knights series. We break down everything that happened on the ice, the aftermath of the series, and why Patrick may be hearing about it for a while. From there, we trade hockey sticks for baseball bats as we dive into the NCAA Baseball Tournament. We talk about the teams we're keeping an eye on, why we're pulling for a few Cinderella stories, and what has made this year's tournament so much fun to watch.Todd also shares the tale of an unexpected visit from a door-to-door salesman, which naturally leads to Patrick asking all the questions. Russell is back from his two-week adventure through France and gives us the full recap—from the highlights to the memorable moments abroad. To wrap things up, Mike hosted a pool party before we hit the record button, and as you'd expect, things (and a few people) got a little sideways before the microphones were even on.If you enjoyed this episode, be sure to follow and subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Small Craft Advisory: Lost Coast Brewery Blackberry Lager
On this episode, the crew cracks open Lost Coast Brewery's Blackberry Lager, hoping to find another standout fruit beer after a recent blackberry brew left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this one couldn't quite live up to the hype. From the first pour, the aroma had us optimistic with a sweet, inviting blackberry scent that hinted at big flavor. But once we took a sip, we were all left wanting more. While the beer was clean and easy to drink, the blackberry character never delivered the bold punch we expected, resulting in scores that reflected the missed opportunity. Was it a bad beer? Not at all. But when you put "blackberry" on the label, we expect that flavor to make itself known—and this lager just played it a little too safe.Listen in as we break down the aroma, appearance, flavor, mouthfeel, and overall drinkability to see where Lost Coast Brewery's Blackberry Lager landed on the Small Craft Advisory scoreboard.

Mike And Patrick Drop The Gloves I EP 70
The guys kick off this episode with an unexpectedly serious conversation as Mike opens up about a situation at home involving his oldest son and asks the crew—and listeners—for some honest advice. It's a thoughtful start that quickly reminds everyone why this podcast is more than just laughs.Of course, the serious tone doesn't last long. The conversation shifts into the growing rivalry between Mike and Patrick as their teams square off in the Western Conference Final. Trash talk flies, bragging rights are on the line, and the guys make a wager that will definitely have consequences for whoever comes out on the losing end.Next up, the crew recaps Netflix's MVP Fight Night, breaking down the biggest moments, standout performances, and everything that had them talking long after the final bell.To close out the episode, Todd, Travis, and Patrick share their spoiler-free thoughts after catching the new Mortal Kombat movie in theaters. Small Craft Advisory: Destihl Brewery Oktoberfest Märzen
Destihl Brewery steps into the spotlight on this episode of Small Craft Advisory as the crew cracks open their Oktoberfest Märzen for review. While there was nothing particularly wrong with this beer, it ultimately left the guys wanting a little more from the experience. The caramel and malt notes were definitely present, but beyond that, the flavor profile felt pretty limited. Words like “average” and “it’s fine” became common throughout the review, and the final scores reflected that overall feeling. This isn’t a bad beer by any means — it’s drinkable, smooth, and true to style — but most of the crew agreed it’s probably not one they’d actively seek out again. That said, Destihl Brewery still has everyone interested in trying more from their lineup in the future because there’s clearly potential there.Be sure to check out the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and don’t forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel for more beer reviews, videos, and content from the crew!

At 7%, it brings a perfect balance of flavor and drinkability, making it dangerously easy to keep going back for more. The crew breaks down everything from the chocolatey depth to the creamy mouthfeel—and spoiler alert—this might be the highest-scored beer we’ve had yet.If you’re a Porter fan (or even if you’re not), this is one you’ll want on your radar.Be sure to follow Small Craft Advisory on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts, and don’t forget to head over to YouTube—like, comment, and subscribe so you never miss a review! 🍻

The crew is back with another installment of Small Craft Advisory, and this week we’re pouring up a classic: Saint Arnold Brewery’s Hefeweizen. Known for its smooth, refreshing profile and signature wheat beer character, this one sparked some solid conversation around the table.Overall, the beer landed well with the group, delivering easy-drinking vibes and a balanced flavor that fits the style. Travis was especially impressed, handing out the highest score of the episode, while Mike couldn’t quite get past the aroma, making him the lone holdout this week. Small Craft Advisory: German Coast First Frost
In this latest Small Craft Advisory Beer Review, the crew heads down to Luling to check out German Coast Beer Company and their First Frost Citrus Wheat Ale. Brewed with Louisiana orange peel, this citrus wheat promises bright, refreshing flavor—and while the guys agree it’s a solid, well-made beer, the discussion quickly turns to whether it quite delivers the punch you’d expect from the style. The beer is easy-drinking, light, and refreshing, but the citrus notes feel a little muted, and the finish could use just a bit more crispness to really make it pop. Still, it’s an enjoyable brew and sparks a good conversation about balance, drinkability, and what makes a wheat ale stand out.Crack one open with us as we break it all down, and don’t forget to follow Small Craft Advisory on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode.

Bricked Up From Celebrini I EP 65
In this episode, we kick things off with a lively discussion about Mardi Gras! The guys share their experiences from the parades, talking about what they loved (and didn’t love) this year. Instead of joining the chaos of Endymion Saturday, Patrick, Todd, and Travis decided to switch it up and take a trip to the relatively new German Coast Beer Co in Luling. While they had plenty of good things to say about the brewery, they also shared some concerns about beer availability and a few small details that could use a tweak.Next, we dive into a thrilling conversation about hockey, specifically the US vs Canada gold medal game in the Olympics. The competition was fierce, and we break down the highs, lows, and standout moments. Finally, Todd takes us on a journey to Starville, MS, where he recaps his trip to Mississippi State’s campus. From catching a baseball game to touring the campus with his daughter, and more.As always, be sure to follow us on Spotify, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts, and check out our YouTube for episodes, beer reviews, and more.

Small Craft Advisory: The Modelos
Crack open a cold one and hop aboard for this week’s segment of Small Craft Advisory, where the tasting notes are crisp but the conversation is a little choppy. In this episode, we’re setting our sights on a triple-threat lineup from the house of Modelo: the classic Modelo Especial, the robust Modelo Negra, and the seasonal newcomer, Modelo Noche Especial. While we start with the best intentions of a professional review, the "advisory" part of our name quickly takes center stage. Before we know it, the tasting notes take a bizarre turn into the worlds of vintage cough syrups, the delicate tannins of Pinot Noirs, and the dark depths of aged rums.It takes a considerable amount of effort—and a very lengthy sidebar—to finally steer the ship back to the beer at hand, but we eventually find our way home. Whether you’re here for the Cerveza or the chaos, make sure you don’t miss a single voyage. We’re each building a personal seven-brew roster, drafting our top five essentials plus two extras to round out the ultimate fridge. The tone is set early when Mike, holding the #1 overall pick, goes for a heavy-hitter selection that caught everyone off guard and threw a wrench into the room's strategy. From navigating the turn in a snake format to playing defense to protect picks, we break down the logic (or lack thereof) behind every round to see who actually walked away with the best lineup. Who won? You be the judge!

Sculpturez Faded Him Up | EP 63
The stage is set in Santa Clara! After eleven years, we are getting the ultimate rematch: the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots. But this isn't Brady vs. Wilson; it’s the dawn of a new era featuring Drake Maye and Sam Darnold. In this episode, we break down every angle of the Big Game, from the coaching chess match to the special teams units that might actually decide the score. Before we talk X’s and O’s, Russell takes a moment of silence for a cause near and dear to his heart.Once the whistle blows on our analysis, we dive deep into the trenches to determine who holds the edge. From the high-flying offensive schemes to the suffocating defensive units and the often-overlooked impact of special teams. The conversation then shifts from the field to the front office as we discuss the final coaching hires of the 2026 cycle. We explore what these new leadership roles mean for the future of the league and which franchises just hit the jackpot. To wrap things up, we put our reputations on the line with our official Super Bowl LX score predictions. We also highlight our favorites for the MVP trophy, debating whether a quarterback will hoist the award or if a dark horse has a legitimate chance.

Small Craft Advisory: Saloon Door Fluffy Nuts
Hold onto your glasses—this might be a record-breaker! In this segment of Small Craft Advisory, the guys tackle a heavyweight contender from Texas: Saloon Door Brewing’s Fluffy Nuts.At a massive 9.6% ABV, this Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Imperial Cream Ale promised a lot on paper, and boy, did it deliver. In fact, this may be our highest-rated beer in segment history. With the "lowest" score sitting at a 3.8 and multiple 4.5 out of 5 ratings hitting the table, it’s safe to say the crew was impressed. The Flavor Profile: Everyone agreed the palate was loaded with ample amounts of creamy peanut butter and just enough marshmallow fluff to round it out.The Danger Zone: The most shocking part? It was so well-balanced that it didn't taste or feel like a 9.6% beer. It’s dangerously smooth—so smooth that having more than one or two might leave you on the floor. The Commitment: While most of the guys cautioned against the high ABV, Patrick was ready to go all in. He enjoyed the brew so much he claimed he’d "willingly sign up" for the floor if it meant drinking more Fluffy Nuts.Is this the ultimate dessert beer, or is it a trap for your Friday night? Check out the full breakdown to see why the scores skyrocketed for this one.Listen: Catch all our latest beer reviews in the Small Craft Advisory segment on your favorite podcast platform.Watch: See the shock on our faces when we realized the ABV—watch the full video review on YouTube!Don't forget to comment, like, and subscribe so we can keep the high-gravity reviews coming!

Small Craft Advisory: Nola Brewing Blackberry Squeeze
Grab a seat at the bar! In this segment of Small Craft Advisory, the crew dives into a local staple with a fruity twist: NOLA Brewing’s Blackberry Squeeze. This 5.5% ABV wheat ale promises a refreshing burst of berry, but did it hit the mark for everyone on the panel? The scores were solid across the board, but as always, the devil is in the details (and the fruit profile). Here’s how the breakdown went:The High Note: Todd led the pack with the session's most notable score, finding plenty to love in this purple-hued pour. The Middle Ground: Travis and Sean both landed in the mid-to-high 3s, appreciating it as a well-crafted, easy-drinking wheat ale.The Legend Factor: Patrick couldn’t help but draw parallels to the iconic Purple Haze. While the style and taste are in the same ballpark, he admits it’s a tough mountain to climb when you're competing against a local legend. The Critique: Mike was the most vocal of the group. While he didn't hate it, he argued that with a name like "Blackberry Squeeze," he wanted a punch of fruit that just wasn't there. For Mike, the "squeeze" was a bit too subtle, leading to his lower rating.Catch more reviews in the Small Craft Advisory segment wherever you get your podcasts. From there, we shift gears to Major League Baseball and dive into the current state of the league, focusing on the Dodgers’ massive spending spree and what it means for the rest of the big-market teams—and the sport as a whole. Todd shares a Tubi movie review. We wrap things up with Sean and Mike each sharing a couple of stories to close things out. Small Craft Advisory: Eureka Heights Nuke The Whales
Small Craft Advisory is back with another bold pour, and this time we’re cracking open Nuke The Whales from Eureka Heights Brewery — an orange vanilla bourbon barrel-aged imperial milk stout that definitely makes a statement before the first sip. The artwork alone is phenomenal and sets the bar high from the outset.Once we got into the beer, the crew agreed it was very good overall, with a solid stout base and smooth barrel character. That said, we all felt the orange and/or vanilla could have been a bit more pronounced to really push this beer into must-have territory. Nothing about it was off-putting — in fact, it’s absolutely worth trying — but we debated whether it’s a beer you’d reach for a second or third time.As always, we break it all down, share our tasting notes, and decide where it lands among our favorite stouts.🍺 Give it a listen and let us know what you think!Be sure to comment, like, and subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. Small Craft Advisory: Real Ale Brewing Coffee Porter
In this Small Craft Advisory episode, we crack open Real Ale Brewing Company’s Coffee Porter and put it to the test. Overall, we found it to be a solid, well-made porter that’s easy to drink and surprisingly light on the palate—in a good way. That said, we all came away wanting more coffee character. While the base porter is smooth and balanced, the coffee flavor never quite pops, leaving the beer feeling like it’s missing that extra something to help it stand out in a crowded field of porters. This is still absolutely a beer worth trying, especially if you prefer a porter that isn’t heavy or overwhelming. It just didn’t give us enough to push it into favorite-porter territory. Tune in as we break down the flavors, expectations, and where this one lands on our Small Craft Advisory scale. 🍺

Small Craft Advisory: Sam Adams Winter White Ale
In the 3rd installment of our Small Craft Advisory series, the crew cracks into Sam Adams Winter White Ale—and it did not disappoint. From the first sip, we were impressed, handing out high marks across the board. The beer delivers exactly what it promises: every tasting note is spot on, the flavors are clean and intentional, and everything comes together in a well-balanced, easy-drinking, “crushable” winter ale. We break down what stood out, why this seasonal works so well, and why it’s an easy grab for cold-weather hangs. If you’re looking for a winter beer that drinks smooth without sacrificing flavor, this one deserves a spot in your rotation. 🍺❄️

High West Hombres | EP 59
We kick off this episode with a moment of silence for a true legend — Todd’s famous lawnmower, which finally bit the dust after years of faithful service. From there, we jump straight into another frustrating loss to our most hated rival, the Atlanta Falcons. While the result was disappointing, there were some bright spots, including Tyler Shough, who showed real poise and flashed some impressive playmaking ability despite the loss.Todd and Travis then recap a pretty unforgettable experience: meeting NHL legend Jeremy Roenick at Port Orleans Brewing. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we talk holiday plans, and Patrick puts everyone on the spot by asking them to build their perfect Thanksgiving plate — sides, mains, and all.The guys also catch up on some recent sporting events their kids have been competing in, sharing proud parent moments and sideline stories. Then comes a very important seasonal debate: when is the right time to start putting up Christmas decorations? Patrick shocks the group by revealing he hasn’t put up a Christmas tree in over a decade, which sparks an idea from Travis on how to finally get Patrick into the holiday spirit. We wrap things up with concert talk, as a few of the guys recently caught Atreyu live and give their thoughts on the show, the setlist, and the overall energy of the night.

These Aren't Our Monkeys | EP 58
