Stop Outsourcing Your Wisdom: How Coaching Helps You Trust God and Yourself

You’re overwhelmed, stuck, and tired of second-guessing yourself, but you still don’t ask for help. You keep praying, overthinking, and waiting for clarity, but you're not taking the next step. Why? Because deep down, you’re afraid. Afraid that if you invest in help, it won’t work. Afraid to go deep and face what might come up. Afraid that maybe you’re the exception—the one who won’t ever really change. So instead, you stay still. Stuck. Waiting. In this episode, we unpack why so many smart, capable Christian women keep outsourcing their wisdom. They look to friends, family, mentors, or spiritual "shoulds" instead of trusting what God has already planted inside them. We share the real reasons we resist help (spoiler: it’s not really about the money), what coaching actually does to accelerate growth, and how it helps you stop overthinking and start living with clarity and peace. You’ll hear powerful stories of what changed, not because someone handed us the answers, but because we finally had the space, safety, and support to hear our own. If you’re craving peace in your body, confidence in your decisions, and a deeper trust in your connection with God, this episode is your sign. You already carry the wisdom. You just don’t have to access it alone.   Join the community of faithful women dedicated to growth: https://risingtidefellowship.com   Learn more or work with Audye at this link: https://audyegonzalez.com   Learn more or work with Regan at this link: https://reganclementcoaching.com   Submit your questions here: https://risingtidefellowship.com/the-fellowship-forum

You Can’t Be Fully Loved If You’re Only Half Showing Up

You’re in the room—but you're not really there. You're smiling, nodding, playing it safe… but hiding the parts of you that feel too risky to share. This episode is for the woman who’s tired of performing, fawning, and shape-shifting just to keep the peace. We unpack the deep loneliness that comes from being liked but not known, and why true connection requires more than just showing up—it requires showing up as yourself. You’ll learn: Why your body feels unsafe being fully seen How people-pleasing leads to self-abandonment What to do when you realize you've been molding yourself to stay accepted Because the love you’re craving? It can only reach the parts of you that are willing to be seen.

The Day I Stopped Explaining Myself

You know that moment—when you say no to something, and suddenly feel the need to justify it? So you start rambling about your toddler’s nap, your in-laws visiting, your mental health, your prayer life… Not because they asked. But because deep down, you’re thinking: “Please don’t think I’m selfish.” This episode is about that moment. The one where fear dresses up as kindness. Where clarity gets swallowed by over-explaining. Where you abandon your voice in exchange for being seen as agreeable, gentle, easy to love. We tell the truth about what it costs to keep the peace. We name the fear of being misunderstood—and why Christian women are especially conditioned to believe that upsetting someone means we've failed spiritually. And we tell the story of the day that changed everything: The day we said the hard thing… and didn’t explain it. We didn’t soften it. We didn’t apologize for our clarity. We let someone not like it—and we lived. This episode will challenge you to ask: “Who am I trying to protect with all this explaining—and why do I think they’re entitled to every part of me?” You don’t owe everyone access to your process. You don’t have to shrink to be safe. You’re allowed to be clear—even if someone else calls it unkind. How To Tell If You’re In Fawn Mode (And Why It Feels Holy)

From the playground to the boardroom, many women are taught the same quiet lesson: don’t upset anyone—ever. In this episode, we explore how early we learn to equate being kind with being compliant… even when it means abandoning ourselves in the process. You’ll hear the story of one fourth-grade friendship that exposed the roots of people-pleasing, and why so many of us still shrink, apologize, and walk on eggshells in adult relationships. We unpack how emotional manipulation hides behind big reactions, why “keeping the peace” often costs you your voice, and what it looks like to stop fawning and start standing tall—with kindness, clarity, and truth. You’re Not Lazy—You’re Fried

So many high-achieving Christian women carry a quiet, heavy shame: “Maybe I’m just lazy.” When the results don’t match the effort, we assume we’re the problem. We beat ourselves up, catastrophize the outcome, and try harder—while slowly burning out. In this episode, we unpack the damaging lie that you’re not doing enough… and the truth that misalignment, not laziness, is often what’s draining you. You’ll hear a personal story of how that belief once ruled our lives, and how God never calls His daughters names. Instead, He invites us to move with clarity, not condemnation—and finally start living from rest instead of striving. When Letting Go Feels Like Everything Will Fall Apart

You know the pattern isn’t working. You want to change. But you’re terrified that if you actually surrender…everything will collapse. What would happen if you set the boundary? What would happen if your older kids were in charge of the laundry? What would happen if you said no to believing you’re a bad Christian? Why You’re Always the Problem Solver (and the Problem)

Ever look around at your family, friend group, or church and think, “Why am I the only one trying to make things better?” or “Why am I the only one capable of this?” Why do you see the mess, feel the urgency, and jump in—while others sit back, cause more chaos, or watch it all burn? When the Pain is a Push: Why God Uses Pressure to Grow You

In this Weekly Fellowship Podcast episode, Audye and Regan dive into the transformative idea that true peace comes from embracing God’s pruning process, not just praying for calm. They explore how relational tensions and personal struggles are often divine invitations to heal unaddressed wounds, rather than signs of failure. Through heartfelt stories, they reveal how God uses the people closest to us to mirror our inner state, calling us to deeper freedom through faith. Burnout Is Not A Scheduling Issue

In this Weekly Fellowship Podcast episode, Audye shares how her babysitter’s demand for a 30% raise sparked a realization: her exhaustion came from resisting God’s call to slow down and reclaim her home. Regan reflects on her own past, living anxiously on autopilot despite appearing organized. Together, they explore why we confuse busyness with holiness and how fear of disappointing others steals our peace. Why Do I Always Shrink in the Moments That Matter?

Did you learn early on that peace was earned by disappearing—that safety meant making others feel safe, even if it cost you your voice? You hesitate. You calculate. You shrink. Because in your story, speaking up often made things worse—not better. So your nervous system wrote a rule: "Keep quiet. Stay small. That’s how we survive." If this sounds like you, join Regan and Audye for a lively conversation about how they finally learned to stop shrinking. I Threw Away My Schedule (and Built a RHYTHM)

When I was drowning with tasks and feeling too busy to feel peaceful, I looked for answers. I bought planners. I bought habit trackers. I listened to all of the advice about how to squeeze in more life between my schedule’s demands. And some of that was helpful, because it taught me what doesn’t work. NONE of the little tools are going to work if we haven’t ever been taught how to design a life that FEELS good. That feels in alignment with our core values. I’m not going to tell you to add a bunch of new and helpful habits to your life. We’re not going to suggest you add more anything right now! Most of you listening are probably up to your eyeballs in enough to do. Why I Stopped Putting Others Before Myself As a Christian

Join us in community and growth at https://risingtidefellowship.com   Work with Regan at https://risingtidefellowship.com/high-tide   A few years ago, I stopped “putting others before myself” like I was taught. I found myself in a place where I was physically and mentally exhausted I was full of RESENTMENT I never had enough time I felt low mood a LOT I felt like a victim to others and God   Other Christian women and good coaches showed me that I was completely twisting Scripture when I thought that “putting others before myself” meant that: 1. I couldn’t/shouldn’t say no 2. I needed to keep other people calm/happy These are classic people-pleasing traits. Christian teaching doesn’t require either. In fact, these behaviors are destructive to an abundant life with God. If you’re still struggling to say “no” when it’s necessary or to do what’s best because someone may feel big feelings, I invite you to listen to today’s show as we really look at the lie we’ve been sold. How I Finally Stopped Scrolling, Distracting, and Numbing

Do you ever use scrolling or distracting yourself as a way to avoid what's going on deep inside? Scrolling, keeping myself busy, and numbing out have been big coping strategies for me over the years. As a child, I turned to food to help me feel safe, and when I outgrew that habit, I replaced it with TV, scrolling, and even doing helpful, holy things for my family but in an anxious way that lacked peace. I had no idea that I was avoiding some under-the-surface emotions. I would look around during my day and think, "I'm not upset in any way. I just have a lot to do."  But why can't I sit still? And why do I need that phone or tv or podcast playing?  'Be still and know that I am God' cannot happen if I cannot be still and quiet.  And it's okay. I’m not broken or weird. We ALL distance ourselves from emotions. But like any skill, we can learn WHAT to do with them..  Maybe you get still and realize you're really upset with your in-laws. Or maybe you've been building resentment at work. Or maybe you feel really guilty about something you've been avoiding. We can learn what to do with these feelings so that we can process them, and they will feel small again. Not threatening enough to run from all day.  Today, we’re going to help you slay the dragon of avoiding your own emotions and breaking down how to get back the FREEDOM to “Be still and Know.” Spend time with us in real community throughout the week at https://risingtidefellowship.com Work with Regan at https://risingtidefellowship.com/high-tide  Work with Anna at https://annasaucier.com Work with Denise at https://weightlosswiththeholyspirit.com

Grit Won't Lead to Peace; A Brave Look into our Capacity

How do you know when you’ve maxed out your capacity?   There are times in my life when I’ve had a wake up call that made me think, “Whoa, I need to scale back or skill up, because this isn’t sustainable at this point.”   In fact, I recently hit that point in our homeschooling journey.   There were signs that kept nudging me to make a change, so first I scaled up my own skills. (I reorganized our space, received coaching for my mindset, and incorporated more play into our rhythm.)   I still needed more support, so I scaled back my personal output in the children’s education and enrolled them in a local school.   This decision has brought us SO MUCH PEACE.   Just as much peace as it brought us 2 years ago when we decided to homeschool!   Today, I’m inviting Anna Saucier to share how to recognize when we have maxed out our capacity and what we can do about it!   If you're worried that this conversation is going to add more to your plate or make you feel bad about being exhausted, rest assured, you won't find that here.    Accepting where we are and inviting Jesus into that place is where it all begins.   Spend time with us in community at https://risingtidefellowship.com   Work with Regan at https://risingtidefellowship.com/high-tide   Work with Anna at https://annasaucier.com

Is Faith Your Inspiration or Your Excuse?

“Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20)   Even a little bit of faith can move mountains in our lives. What are your mountains?   Five years ago, I had faith to move mountains, but I wouldn’t move them, because I thought it was selfish and sinful to even ask.   Christian culture was saying things like, ‘your desires are selfish,’ and ‘deny yourself,’ and I totally misunderstood what Scripture really said, so I chose not to move the mountains in my life, and they began to swallow me up.   If you are looking at the mountains in your life with doubt and fear, my goal today is to show you what is blocking your faith from responding in BIG, MOUNTAIN-MOVING ways.   Let’s goooooo!   Spend time with us in community at https://risingtidefellowship.com   Work with Regan at https://risingtidefellowship.com/high-tide

What‘s blocking you from living a peaceful life?   I asked 100 women this question, and some really painful answers came back…   pain, illness, marriage, job, money, anxiety…   Can we find peace when experiencing situations outside of our control?   YES     Think about the people you’ve seen overcome hardship and inspire you along the way:   Those people who smiled at the end of life.   Or showed faith during cancer or grave illness.   Or came back from terrible grief even more holy.   They each found a way to peace amidst the suffering and chaos of life.    And on the flipside, we’ve also seen people become hardened and hopeless   Today, I’m glad you’re here with me to take an in depth look at how even in the midst of external hardships, we always play a role in our peace.   I’m not talking about fake positivity, “just putting a smile on your face,” or pushing through. I’m talking about actual peace.    My goal today is to inspire you to see how much power you really have as a woman of faith.   Let’s dive in! Every single day, I work with brave, generous, Christian women who are amazing and talented with the gifts God has given them. Today, we’re going to break open why we feel that way and how to properly care for ourselves from a place of love. Do this ONE THING to be more Confident and Capable

Today is my birthday, and as I enjoy these big beautiful flowers around me, I'm excited to spend an hour with you all for some Weekly Fellowship! We talk a lot about being WHOLE women in here which means really allowing Jesus to enter into each area of our lives to transform them. At the root of wholeness is our self worth. How worthy does Jesus find me? Does the Father really choose me? Does He really feel compassionate, reckless love for me? Okay maybe I know logically that the answer is 'Yes,' but how was it communicated to me by my primary caregivers? Was I shown that my worth is never on the line no matter how much or little I please others? Was I shown that my value never falters no matter how pretty, perfect, productive, or pleasing others find me? As a mom, I find it almost impossible to REALLY help my children know this Truth, because they can easily misinterpret any frustration with their effort as frustration with who they are. So they find themselves questioning their value, looking for ways to prove, please, or produce in order to earn it... just like you and I.   Join our community at https://risingtidefellowship.com Join us for weekly fellowship LIVE at https://risingtidefellowship.com/weekly-fellowship Work with Regan Clement at https://reganclementcoaching.com Help your teen create confidence with Jenny at https://contagiouslight.org Work with RyAnne Carr at https://risingtidefellowship.com

How to Form Healthy Habits when your Human Nature is Fighting It

Today's discussion is all about HABITS. The good, the bad, and the downright ugly. I have given up on so many good habits. I start strong, get really motivated, and then suddenly I look up and find that it has been weeks since I practiced that habit! DANGIT! I guess I failed again, and now I am really busy with other things. I don't know when I will have the time and energy to try again, and if I'm being honest, I don't have a lot of hope that it will work next time, so why even try? This is why I'm hosting two habit experts today at our 'Weekly Fellowship. 'I'm going to ask them, "How do we get out of this cycle?!" SPOILER ALERT: This talk could be titled, "The Anti-Habit." How to Connect with God when Prayer seems IMPOSSIBLE

We know prayer is good for us. We know ALL of the reasons to pray. And we know it’s building our relationship with God.   But that doesn’t make the distractions smaller. It doesn’t make the dry seasons less painful. And while there are hundreds of resources teaching us the VALUE of prayer, frankly my dear, we already know the value. We don’t need anyone to tell us to be more prayerful to lower our stress, we need someone to tell us how to pray when life is stressful! What are your biggest obstacles to prayer? Routines Directly Affect Willpower by Lowering Decision Fatigue

Today, we'd like to offer you WILLPOWER.   We all have goals- achievements that we can see will make life so much better when we get there. Some of us are dreaming about being healthy, financially free, or stronger in our marriages. We need willpower to be disciplined enough to actually do the hard stuff - the meal planning, hard conversations, or budgeting! But you get tired. You do a lot physically, mentally, and spiritually, and it's hard to stay strong after a long week. You've made so many decisions by 5 o'clock in the afternoon, and you deserve a break. So your willpower drops, you make decisions from exhaustion instead of your goals, and another month goes by without any progress. We've ALL been there, so today we're sharing how we pivoted from feeling low willpower and decision fatigue to finally feeling unruffled enough to stick with the goals we set. Believe me, if this type B, messy middle child can find a way around the willpower struggle, so can you!    To join our incredible community of uplifting, Christian women who want to be more capable and disciplined in our daily lives. Self Discipline Begins with Mastery of Your Thoughts.

If you don't know how to manage your thoughts, you won't be able to manage your actions. "Self discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts." -Napoleon Hill. This is a huge topic, so in today's episode, we’re just going to focus on the tip of the iceberg and really create awareness around how powerful our thoughts are and how we can use this new awareness to change the outcomes we see in our life. We all have things that we’re working on right now... things that we’ve tried so many different strategies to achieve and we still aren’t seeing the results we want. Whether it’s our fitness level, our spiritual health, our prayer life, our organization, our cleanliness, our marriages, our friendships, our relationship with her parents whatever it is we all have things are working on that we are not seeing improvement. The overarching formula here is thoughts evoke emotions, emotions propel us into action, and actions create our outcomes. In other words, thoughts are directly affecting outcomes!   Join the community for book clubs, Bible studies, and weekly fellowship at https://risingtidefellowship.com   To work with Regan Clement, head to https://reganclementcoaching.com

How to Stop Sabotaging your Goals

Are you trying to set good habits this year? Have you found yourself sabotaging your habits in the past?  A client recently asked me to help her stick with her new habits. She had a short list of fitness habits that she wanted to implement: lift weights 3x/week, walk on the off days, drink 2L of water daily, and eat a protein-packed breakfast. These are all great goals! But if I’m supposed to help her stick with these, we need to take a step back and remember what her DREAM (or VISION) is for her year! She told me her dream is to have a LEVEL 10 marriage! Do you see an issue here? Her habits and goals had nothing to do with her DREAM! Should she try to stay disciplined with the goals she chose or should she choose NEW goals that are aligned with her dream? That’s what we’re breaking down today in our show.
