Following the loss of a Formula 1 legend, Lewis Hamilton honors Niki Lauda by winning his third career Monaco GP. A huge mistake by the Ferrari team in qualifying leaves Charles Leclerc starting in 15th while an early safety car and multiple driver penalties shook up the grid during the race. A near perfect race from Marc Marquez helps him to regain the lead in the championship. The two factory Ducati riders, Dovizioso and Petrucci, made a couple mistakes and battled their way back to finish on the podium. Yes it happened again! A Mercedes 1, 2 finish. We saw interesting strategies foiled by a late safety car along with some promising upgrades that helped the Red Bull and Haas cars make their way up the pack.
