The Power of Provision lab explores how the world’s system, and in particular love of money/materialism, becomes an idol and an obstacle to our trust in God. We will discover how the Israelite’s journey in the wilderness is both a lesson and a reflection of our own attitudes, beliefs, and priorities. Jesus warned, “You cannot serve God and mammon”. We will unpack how money and materialism are not about the amount you have, but rather the position they hold in your heart. How material things of this world become a spiritual issue. The goal of the lab is not only to understand how to trust God as our Provider but also to know Him as our Provision.
