Bold In The Chaos (April 26, 2026)
When fear and chaos surround us, how do we remain bold in faith? This sermon from Pastor Lucas Chance examines Paul’s example in Acts 28 and Jesus’ words in Luke 12 to show that courage doesn’t come from denying fear—it comes from placing our fear in the right place: before a loving and sovereign God. Be encouraged to trust Him, live with integrity, and boldly proclaim His Kingdom in everyday life.

The Conviction Response (April 19, 2026)
The Conviction Response: Run to the Cross (April 19, 2026)Pastor Lucas Chance explores the powerful role of the Holy Spirit in bringing conviction—not condemnation—as the first evidence of God at work in our lives. Reflecting on the events surrounding Easter, he contrasts fear and repentance through the responses of Peter and John. We find that true transformation begins when we respond to conviction by running toward the cross, not away from it. Through repentance, we encounter the freedom, forgiveness, and new identity found in Jesus—where our sin is left behind and we are made new.[00:00:00] Welcome & Podcast Intro[00:00:37] Opening Prayer[00:02:22] Life After Easter: What Changed?[00:04:52] The Holy Spirit at Work Today[00:05:45] Jesus Promises the Helper (John 16)[00:07:08] Conviction: God Calling You Back[00:09:13] Conviction vs Condemnation[00:11:37] Fear vs Faith: The Arrest of Jesus[00:16:18] Peter vs John: Two Responses to Failure[00:22:15] The Cost of Following Jesus Publicly[00:23:51] Repentance: The Right Response to Conviction[00:24:53] Run to the Cross, Not Away[00:30:11] Forgiveness, Restoration & New Identity[00:35:43] The Empty Tomb: Sin Is Gone[00:40:41] Living a Life of Ongoing Repentance[00:43:47] Closing Podcast Outro

A Leap Into The Light (April 5, 2026)
Christianity is not a blind leap into darkness—it is a step into the light. This message challenges the idea that faith is irrational, showing instead that true biblical faith is grounded in understanding, evidence, and a growing knowledge of who Jesus is. Through both personal testimony and historical support, we’re reminded that belief in Jesus is not based on feelings alone, but on real evidence—especially the resurrection. Ultimately, the cross reveals both the depth of God’s love and the weight of His justice, as Jesus stands in the gap, taking our place so we can move from darkness into life through faith in Him.00:37 – Christianity: Not Blind Faith, But Light. From Problem to Promise
From Problem to Promise: Finding God’s Path ForwardPastor Lucas ChanceEvery spiritual action begins with a choice. In this message from 1 Samuel 13–14, we explore how faith is not forced—it is chosen. Looking at the story of Jonathan and his armor bearer, we discover a practical framework for navigating life’s challenges: identify the problem, envision God’s picture for the future, and step forward on the path He provides. Ultimately, this story points us to Jesus, who fought the decisive battle for us and now invites us to follow Him with fully surrendered hearts. When fear tries to hold us back, the question remains: will we stay where we are, or will we say to God, “I’m with you—heart and soul.”00:00 Spiritual Practices & The Power of Choice02:01 Faith Is Chosen, Not Forced04:10 The Framework: Problem, Picture, Path05:56 Identifying the Real Problem (1 Samuel 13)09:53 What Fear and Anxiety Are Telling You12:52 Envisioning God’s Picture for the Future17:14 Finding the Path Forward18:13 Jonathan’s Bold Step of Faith (1 Samuel 14)25:26 Vulnerability and Trusting God on the Path29:35 When God Brings the Breakthrough32:25 Seeing Jesus in the Story35:49 “I Am With You Heart and Soul” – The Choice to Follow

Believing & Becoming
Faith is not just something we believe—it’s something we choose. In this message by Pastor Lucas Chance, we explore how faith becomes visible in the moment of decision. Scripture shows that the Christian life unfolds through a series of choices: choosing to believe the gospel, choosing to become who God says we are, and choosing to act in obedience. The sermon walks through three key movements of spiritual growth:1. BelieveFaith begins with a choice of the heart. While faith itself is a gift from God, we participate by responding to the work of the Holy Spirit and confessing our belief in Jesus Christ.2. BecomeWhen we believe, our identity changes immediately—we become children of God. Yet spiritual growth continues as we mature into who God has called us to be. What we focus on shapes what we become.3. ActFaith ultimately shows itself in action. The everyday decisions we make reveal what we truly believe about God and His promises.Consider the daily choices that shape your faith and intentionally fix your eyes on Christ so that your life reflects Him.Key ScriptureRomans 10:10Chapters00:00 Introduction – Faith and the Moment of Choice02:08 Opening Prayer03:00 Faith Demonstrated Through Choice05:05 The First Choice: Believe10:00 The Second Choice: Become14:05 You Become What You Look At19:10 Worship and Fixing Our Eyes on Christ24:30 Growing Into Who God Calls Us To Be30:05 The Third Choice: Act34:40 Living Out Faith Daily37:20 Final Encouragement

We have to think about what the right response is as Christians, not just as Canadians. Jesus Commands - Love
Today's guest speaker is George Krahn, challenging us to obey Jesus' commands to love our fellow believers, neighbours, and even our enemies.Scripture:John 13:34-35(34) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (35) By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”---Romans 12:10(10) Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.---Luke 10:25-29(25) On one occasion, an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (26) “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” (27) He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (28) “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” (29) But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”---Luke 10:36-37(36) “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” (37) The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”---Luke 6:27-36(27) “But to you who are listening, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, (28) bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (29) If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. (30) Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. (31) Do to others as you would have them do to you. (32) “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. (33) And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. (34) And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. (35) But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. (36) Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Scripture: Numbers 5:11-31Tom Birch asks Is Jesus in the difficult passages? We know that he fulfilled the Law, but did he fulfill all of them? The Power of a Father's Voice
"The Power of a Father's Voice: Speaking Truth, Love, and Life"This Father’s Day, we’re turning our ears to the voice of God the Father. In the Gospels, God speaks audibly three times—at Jesus’ baptism, on the Mount of Transfiguration, and during Passion Week. Each moment offers a glimpse of the Father’s heart and sets a pattern for how godly men are called to speak into the lives entrusted to them.*And when Jesus was baptized, immediately He went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on Him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.’ *— Matthew 3:16–17We celebrate and honour the fathers, husbands, and men among us who reflect the strength, tenderness, and truth of the Father. Their voice matters, and the way they lead in word and presence leaves a legacy of life and faith.Take time to reflect: *What does the Father’s voice teach us about how we are called to speak? How might your words bring identity, encouragement, and spiritual clarity to those God has placed in your life?*

Misunderstanding God
Misunderstanding God: Navigating Scripture with Love and LibertyWe're heading into our "Summer Shred" Bible Reading Challenge beginning June 15th. That can lead to misunderstanding what God is doing and saying. Pastor Lucas Chance give us some key strategies to overcome challenges and stay motivated during the summer Bible reading initiative:1. Don't feel guilty if you miss reading or can't complete the entire daily reading. There are no merit badges or heavenly rewards for perfect completion.2. Approach the reading with the right perspective:- Look for God's love and freedom in the text- Try to understand the deeper principles behind the scriptures- Be open to learning and potentially discovering new insights3. Recognize that reading the Bible is a discipline and can be challenging. It's normal to find it difficult to read for an hour each day.4. Use available resources like audio Bibles if traditional reading is challenging.5. Remember the goal is not just to complete a reading challenge, but to grow in understanding of God's nature and principles.6. Be patient with yourself and view this as an opportunity for spiritual growth, not a strict obligation.7. Consider finding an accountability partner or joining a group study to help maintain motivation and discuss what you're learning. The key is to approach the "summer shred" with curiosity, grace, and a desire to understand God more deeply.

Always At Work
In John 5, Jesus heals a man who had suffered for thirty-eight years. When questioned, the man cannot explain what happened. He only knows that everything changed. Jesus later says, My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working (John 5:17).On this Sunday's episode, we’ll be reminded that God is never inactive. Even when we cannot see it, His providence is unfolding. Christ’s work is not limited to the miraculous but includes sustaining grace in the ordinary.Take time to reflect: Do I trust God is working, even when I cannot trace His hand? Let us rest in the truth that the Father and Son are always at work for His glory and our good.
