In 1989, something truly baffling happened in the quiet town of New Columbia, Pennsylvania. A two-year-old seemed to vanish from his home in the middle of the night.The family would also find themselves in the spotlight over the years from some other crimes, some of which have remained unsolved.The fact remains, however, that two-year-olds generally don't disappear on their own, at least without being found eventually.So what happened to Corey James Edkin?

Marsha Kaye Lyle was a 41-year old woman living in Seale, Alabama in May of 2020.  She was living with an inoperable brain tumor, and was being treated for schizoaffective disorder.  Her mother and sister, who lived in Florida, helped keep tabs on her by setting up weekly check-in phone calls with Marsha.  But by that May, Marsha stopped answering their calls. Welfare checks from authorities discovered that Marsha was at home, but might have been acting oddly.  By the evening of May 5, 2020, Marsha left her Seale, Alabama home and started driving. A small Ohio town was rattled when two beloved members of their community mysteriously disappeared.Johnny and Shelly Markley lived with their five children in Bristlvile, Ohio, and suffered some tragedies in the mid-90s. Robert Hourihan left for work on April 8, 2011, at 6:30 a.m. just as he always did. Except Rob wasn't going to work as his wife believed.For some reason, Rob went to breakfast and then began driving north.Rob wasn't officially reported as missing until April 10, 2011, and the search began. On November 1, 2021, 32-year-old Shannon White left her home in Kamloops, British Columbia, to drive her familiar short commute to work at a local car dealership.Eyewitnesses saw her walk to her vehicle that morning, dressed for work, but she never arrived at the dealership. Lakira Dajour Goldsmith, a 20-year-old mother from Montgomery, Alabama, disappeared late on the night of November 27, 2018. She was dropped off at her grandmother’s apartment on Narrow Lane Road, but she never made it inside. A maintenance worker reported that she borrowed his phone around 2:00 a.m., and when he returned, the phone had been left behind, and Lakira was gone. She left without her belongings, including medication needed for her severe asthma, and she has not contacted her family or her young son since. Cathy James, a 60-year-old woman in Oklahoma, mistakenly walked into a home in Tonkawa, believing it was her friend's house. These were Tonee's belongings. He took the bag, which contained a cell phone, and left the shoes and vase behind. He contacted Tonee's family letting them know what he had.While many feared she jumped, others point out some inconsistencies as to why that doesn't really make sense. The search for Tonee turned up few clues, and to this day, Tonee Turner remains missing. Where is Tonee Marie Turner?

Kellisue left work on the night of September 30, 2008. It was around 9:45 p.m., and it was presumed she'd be making the 15-minute drive north to her husband and daughter, just as she always did.Except, she never made it home.Her car was found on a side road near her home in Johnstown, New York. Billy Smolinski Jr. was a likable, friendly, and outgoing guy.In 2004, at 31 years old, Billy had just broken up with his girlfriend but made plans to spend the following weekend with one of his exes.  He was upset over the breakup, but looking forward to a weekend out to help get his mind off of things.But that weekend wouldn't happen.A bunch of odd things would begin to happen. Billy allegedly asked a neighbor to feed his dog while he went out of town for a few days. But he left behind his truck and belongings.  His family said he made no mention to them that he was leaving town, and they spoke regularly. He had also just returned from a trip to Florida.  The family knew something was wrong, but the police refused to investigate. Strange clues would start stacking up, leading the family to believe something bad had happened.In 2009, they began working on 'Billy's Law'. In August of 2019, a grandmother in Hanson, Massachusetts vanished into thin air.She was last seen by her son-in-law, who dropped her off at home the evening of August 7, 2019.
