Wild and Free
by Anni Powell
This debut EP released in 2021 was an experiment of music creation, recording, and production. With a bit of this and a bit of that, the end product amped up Anni's singer-songwriter style to full production pop-rock with notes of jazz. Anni wrote the music and lyrics and performed the vocals, piano and synth. Kristopher Ewaniuk produced, mixed & mastered, and added guitar and bass. Anni's sister Vicki played drums, brass by Rachel Ewaniuk, and back up vocals by Anni's husband, Toby, and friends Chelsea Lyn Meyer and Mike Geroni. The album cover was created by the talented artist, Erin Powell. Check out her artwork here: http://ginsengalley.com/

Friends
Inspiration for this song came from being in two weddings in one day. One for two of my good friends from high school, and the other for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. What a day! It was awesome. It went so smoothly, with little coordination and intervention on my part. One wedding happened...
