A Continuing Dialogue with The Pope
On November 12th, 2023, 400 rabbinic leaders and scholars of the global Jewish community reached out to Pope Francis asking for spiritual support from the Catholic church following the horrific attacks on Israel and the hostage-taking of innocent civilians by the terrorist group, Hamas, based in Gaza. The Pope responded on February 3, 2024 with a beautiful letter. This episode follows the correspondence, along with the Jewish community's response to The Pope's letter.
