Mary sits down on this episode with her long-time friend, Michelle Daniel for a deeply moving and hope-filled conversation about trusting God through life’s many difficulties. A former high school hurdler, Michelle reflects on how that image has carried into her spiritual journey—facing one obstacle at a time while relying on the discipleship and strength God placed in her early on. Just like many of us, she faced obstacles in the loss of her only sibling, battling breast cancer, navigating divorce and singleness, finding love again, and now cherishing time with her father in hospice care, Michelle’s story is one of enduring faith. With honesty and grace, she shares how grief in many circumstances can feel overwhelming, yet God has remained her constant source of strength and courage. Anchored in the truth of Joshua 1:9, her testimony is a powerful reminder that we are never alone, that He is always enough, and that no matter how many hurdles we face, we are still held—and there is always hope.

    Ep 4 | Persevering in God’s Will

The Bible tells us that God has a plan for each us. But how do we persevere in His will and know what He has for us? Our guest, Laura Ford, is a fantastic writer, speaker, and Bible teacher that is no stranger to North Metro. Laura shares with us her insights in navigating God calling us to serve and then surrendering to Him as our final authority. Many times, we can get into our own head, and we find ourselves willing to give up. God encourages us to not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The harvest of blessing, peace and abundance are priceless when we exchange our way for God’s way.

  17. 3

Ep 3 | How Am I Going to Get Through This?

All of us have wondered why God would allow things to happen to us. Why do we go through hard times in our lives? What we thought life was supposed to be sometimes isn’t what it actually is. Alicia Simpson shares how she walked through a difficult time experiencing the faithfulness of God when life turned upside down in her world. We believe we know God and what He desires for us; however, in those dark and lonely moments we can face the unexpected with Him by our side and walk through finding joy and peace that we never imagined.

  18. 2

Ep 2 | Uprooting Your Life

How would you feel about being uprooted from the only home you’ve ever known? Elizabeth Sullivan has recently faced this experience and found that there are many things to learn in a new environment: connecting with a new church and community, establishing solid friendships, starting a new business, and then dealing with an unexpected accident for her child. Our version of success may not necessarily look like what the Lord has for us, but it is certainly more valuable when we perceive things from His perspective and not our own.

  19. 1

Ep 1 | Praying for your Woman at The Well

Debbie Walker sits down with our Women’s Ministry Director, Mary Cox, to share how the Lord walked her through a time in her family’s life that took them 20 years to navigate. Debbie discusses openly the struggles they faced with their daughter’s drug addiction and how it kept them all apart. The lessons of completely surrendering her daughter to the Lord was key and His faithfulness exhibited through the years offers hope to many of us. When we think that God isn’t working in a situation, He certainly is.
