A historical preservation podcast focusing on women's historical significance in The Hayti Community since women's history is consistently overlooked and undertold. As an emerging historian, I believe it is of vital importance to reshape how women's history is researched, told, preserved, and implemented into education. If not, women will continue to depend on the stories and perspectives of men to discover their own roots, to see what possibilities exist for women, and to understand how women have changed and continue to change the world. Preserving and sharing these stories helps women, especially those in minority communities, better understand where they come from, why their communities are significant, and that they, too, have the power and purpose to shape history.
