F**K what "THEY" say - Ramona Ramesat
2017 sucked. The joy I had for my coaching business was dead and I came close to throwing in the towel. I called on my “spirit team” for clarity but apparently they didn’t understand “now please!” It took me having to undergo a health challenge to finally get my “aha moment”. I saw, with crystal clarity, an epidemic of women feeling confused and overwhelmed. Living in a society of instant information means that there is no shortage of experts, mentors, gurus, family, friends, self-help books and webinars all telling us what we “should” do. But sadly, so much information was leading to more confusion. I realized that women had forgotten how to listen to their inner guidance and saw that it’s my mission to teach them how to access, decipher and trust it so they can take fearless action in their lives and businesses.www.ramonaremesat.comPlease LIKE and FOLLOW our podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/WomenTalk-iTunesAPPLY TO SHARE YOUR STORY ON OUR PODCAST AT: WWW.WOMENTALK.CA/PODCAST

Kathryn Tubby Johnston - The first woman to play in a Little League Baseball game in 1950
Join us on the Women Talk Podcast as we celebrate the remarkable journey of Kathryn Tubby Johnston, a trailblazer in the world of Little League Baseball. 🥎In 1950, she made history as the first woman to play in a Little League Baseball game. However, after the season concluded, a Little League meeting resulted in a ban on girls participating in the sport. It took until 1974 and the landmark lawsuit won by Maria Pepe to overturn this discriminatory policy and allow girls to play once again.Today, at the age of 81, Kathryn is honoured in the "Diamond Dreams" permanent exhibit at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., recognizing the significant contributions of women in the sport. In a moment of pure joy, she stepped onto the field at Yankee Stadium, the iconic "House That Ruth Built," at the age of 70 in 2006, to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Though the ball bounced, she cherished the experience. Kathryn has also had the honour of throwing the first pitch for the Oakland A's.If you want to delve deeper into Kathryn Johnston's inspiring story, you can find her book, "Anybody's Game: Kathryn Johnston, the First Girl to Play Little League Baseball," available on Amazon. Stay tuned for the upcoming movie about her life! For more information and updates, visit Kathryn's website at www.tubbyjohnston.com. HERwithin with Janis Doherty
First came a retreat where I met my coach and an amazing group of women who were in that place of “how do I get through this” … and we did! Then came an appointment with my naturopath who said that after reconnecting with myself, this next process would be much easier. I went out to my car and sat there staring at myself in my mirror. What did he mean “reconnecting with myself”? Who did I reconnect with? After some time and realizations, I knew that there was something else inside me that I needed to follow and it wasn’t my heart or mind. It was HER!! It was my soul, my original operating system, My HERwithin!I wasn’t rebuilding my life puzzle because, you can only build a puzzle one way. I was in the process of building a brand new life puzzle that had bluer skies, brighter colors and a new me.I guide women through a journey of self-direction. My life of transitions has witnessed divorce, parenting, disease, death, remarriage, step-parenting, job loss, loss of identity, entrepreneurship and the journey isn’t done yet. By finding my own way from within, I was able to redirect myself back on my path. Your path is right in front of you. If you’re lost on your own path, HERwithin is the place you need to be. www.herwithin.comPlease LIKE and FOLLOW our podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/WomenTalk-iTunesAPPLY TO SHARE YOUR STORY ON OUR PODCAST AT: WWW.WOMENTALK.CA/PODCAST

Why?Colleen has written her way through adolescence, love, heartbreak, back to love, motherhood, trauma, loss, self-discovery and joy.Recently her publisher’s Author of the Month, for her memoir INHALE, Colleen inspires listeners through song, and empowers readers through word. How the angels helped me heal with Giuliana Melo
How The Angels Helped Me Heal At the age of 53, Giuliana Melo was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. She shares her story of healing. She is an inspirational woman warrior. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 but she is not a victim, she is a survivor and a thriver!!! Her journey through cancer reached a low when she was so scared that she asked God, “Why me?” That moment was a pivotal point in her life as she realized Why not me??? It opened the way for healing, by the "Grace of God", and allowed her to expand her spiritual awareness. She knew through the practice of Gratitude that there were many blessings to be counted even on those days that were challenging. Like that saying "every day may not be good, but there is good in every day!" and also none of us are promised tomorrow so just make today the best day ever. Yesterday is gone. Forget it. You too can "embrace Grace" and heal mind, body and spirit.www.giulianamelo.comPlease LIKE and FOLLOW our podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/WomenTalk-iTunesAPPLY TO SHARE YOUR STORY ON OUR PODCAST AT: WWW.WOMENTALK.CA/PODCAST
