Is that going to be social media, the news, God, Scripture?Do you have a community that looks like Acts 2... a community that is willing to lend to you when your oil is low?

We see the benefits and the divine anointing God has on discipleship and community servanthood… like Elijah, it is a heavy burden to carry out the will of God alone and God wants us to seek Christlike communityGod wants the revelation, blessing, faith and believe that he has built us up in to be passed down

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: true blessings are the things that Heaven proof… fruit, people, heart posture… have you taken a moment recently to really analyze what you're asking for in prayer or what blessings are already around you?

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Have you surrendered at the feet of Jesus? Have you desired he cover you in his blood, protection and salvation? If you were to be “winnowed” or sifted what would be tossed in the wind and what would fall substantial and fruitful to the ground?

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Are you living in the cycle of judgment/conviction? What gets the most of your attention? That is what you worship. Is there a repeated sin, pattern or routine that feels UNgodly in your life… something you’re consistently asking forgiveness for? God is making it obvious so you can FLEE from it and drive it out - in the name of JESUS!Judges 2:3 “So now I say, I will not drive them out before you, but they shall become thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.”

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Is there an area in your life or heart your holding onto the plunder - if you think about “sin and disobedience” as a family issue over just a personal or individual issue - do you think differently on it? Even looking into your own parents. >> Because of Jesus, we no longer pay this hefty penalty but it should still mean something to us. Do the people around us EVERYDAY/MOST OFTEN see, feel, hear and smell the Jesus on us?

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Moses prepared, trained, took along, Joshua. Is there anyone that you are taking along to lead as a disciple? Or anyone in your life that is not believer or a lukewarm believer that you can stand in the in-between for and show them the hope of Jesus?

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Numbers is a great lesson on Gods patience and perseverance after our hearts and minds… He doesn't just want to do FOR us but WITH us. He could have let the Israelites in the promised land but they would have looked like Egypt. He’s after our hearts over our earthly matters. He wants us to be SET APART in Egypt (the world) in how we think, act, believe, worship and sacrifice… not fit in with the world. Guided Prayer:Lord, we want to be set a part to you only, if there is one thing you could bring to mind that is keeping us at a distance, could you bring it to mind now?Is there an area of our lives and hearts that you are calling us too? What is one step you would like us to take?If there is one word you could bring to mind right now, what is it?

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: Leviticus shows that we can know a lot about God but not have a personal relationship with Jesus and also, we can know Jesus but not have his word written on our heart. BOTH are important to God. Religion: the belief in and worship of supernatural power (heavy with no way out)Relationship: State of being connected (light and fleeting) Relationship + religion = free & grounded Where do you see yourself on the scale of relationship with God and religion towards God?More at: WOWinwoe.org

LIVING ON MISSION = Being WOW in woe = living for eternity not the world Homework: think about the Israelites… ALL their dirty laundry is aired out here in Genesis and Exodus for us to judge and hopefully learn from… they struggled to live the free and redeemed life that God offered them over and over again. It's easy for us to comment on everything they get wrong or even joke about it but isn't that us? We've literally had hundreds of more years than them to practice this thing and still get it so messed up.
