What is Macro Tracking?
Macro tracking is the process of monitoring the three main macronutrients your body uses for energy: protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Instead of only counting calories, macro tracking helps you understand where your nutrition is coming from and how it supports your goals, whether that’s weight loss, muscle gain, better energy, or overall health. To track macros, start by determining your daily calorie and macro goals. Then, use a food tracking app or nutrition label to log everything you eat throughout the day. Protein supports muscle recovery and keeps you full, carbohydrates provide energy, and healthy fats help with hormones and overall body function. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s awareness and consistency. Over time, macro tracking can help create healthier eating habits and a better understanding of nutrition.
