Somewhere Out There - James Horner (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/df7e51e0 Photo by Jayme McColgan on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this wonderful #Music community. I'm delighted to perform "Somewhere Out There" on my trumpet, a beautiful pop ballad composed in 1986 by James Horner, Barry Mann, and Cynthia Weil for the animated film "An American Tail." The lyrics speak of the hope of reuniting with a loved one, despite the distance. The most famous version, and my personal favorite, is by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram. As a child, I had the opportunity to see the film and its sequels countless times. This piece is originally written in F major and has an intimate, natural, and expressive melody with expressive leaps and stepwise motion. It has a 4/4 time signature, a slow tempo, and a relaxed rhythm with occasional syncopation. It begins with a gentle dynamic and gradually builds to a jubilant climax, finally closing with a feeling of calm and tranquility. Photo by Alejandro Piñero Amerio on Unsplash With the power outages, I've had to be resilient. There are scheduled 4- to 5-hour cuts every day, and in the meantime, we have to take precautions, like keeping our phones and laptops charged. Charging time allows me to get a lot done, and I've decided to cope with it patiently and without complaining. Complaining only makes things worse, so if it's not in my hands to fix it, what I can do is the best I can and keep moving forward with my personal and professional goals. On social media, I see how some people are taking it with humor, others with anger, and they try to get attention as if they were the only ones experiencing this. What I can say ironically is that, thanks to them, we're reminded of the reality of our challenges. I hope you enjoy my interpretation. Blessings. Bendiciones. Somewhere Out There Somewhere out there Beneath the pale moonlight Someone's thinking of me And loving me tonight Somewhere out there Someone's saying a prayer That we'll find one another In that big somewhere out there And even though I know how very far apart we are It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky Somewhere out there If love can see us through Then we'll be together Somewhere out there Out where dreams come true And even though I know how very far apart we are It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky Somewhere out there If love can see us through (Love can see us through) Then we'll be together Somewhere out there Out where dreams come true Fuentes / Sources ImagesObtained in Unsplash Lyrics“Somewhere Out There” by Linda Ronstadt & Ingram on Genius Thumbnail & BannerMade with Adobe Creative Cloud Express GifsCreated with EZGif Specific InformationSong Meanings and Facts Backing trackSomewhere Out There by James Horner

Hive Open Mic Week #315 | We Can Work It Out - The Beatles (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/e81fb5c4 Photo by Jiamin Huang on Unsplash A warm greeting to this wonderful community. In Hive Open Mic #315, we explored the theme: “Moonlight.” I'm pleased to share my trumpet rendition of “We Can Work It Out,” a song that blends genres like pop rock and folk rock, composed by Paul McCartney and John Lennon in 1965. The lyrics address conflict within a relationship and propose dialogue and empathy as paths to resolution. I've had the opportunity to listen to Stevie Wonder's version and others, though I must say The Beatles' is my favorite. The key of this piece is D major, but I play it in C major. The melody is beautiful, persuasive, and repetitive. The time signature is 4/4 with a moderate and expressive dynamic. The harmony is enchanting and narrates both conflict and reconciliation. Photo by Ganapathy Kumar on Unsplash I love contemplating the moonlight. I consider it part of God's creation, just as sunlight is. The moon and stars have illuminated and guided navigators across vast oceans and have inspired countless songs for their beauty and symbolism. In art, moonlight often represents peace, tranquility, contemplation, and wholesome love. It has also become a great aspiration for humankind; its distance and the difficulty in reaching it have given it a special value, to the point of symbolically offering it to a loved one. Many people observe it through superstition or mysticism; I value it for its role as the natural satellite of our beautiful planet. However, the true light that guides my steps is Jesus Christ. I wholeheartedly feel that neither the moon, nor the sun, nor all the stars can compare to what He means to us. Blessings to all; it's a pleasure to be back on this stage after so long. We Can Work It Out Try to see it my way Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on? While you see it your way Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone We can work it out We can work it out Think of what you're saying You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright Think of what I'm saying We can work it out and get it straight or say good night We can work it out We can work it out Life is very short, and there's no time For fussing and fighting my friend I have always thought, that it's a crime So I will ask you once again Try to see it my way Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong While you see it your way There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long We can work it out We can work it out Life is very short, and there's no time For fussing and fighting my friend I have always thought, that it's a crime So I will ask you once again Try to see it my way Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong While you see it your way There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long We can work it out We can work it out Fuentes / Sources ImagesObtained in Unsplash Lyrics“We Can Work It Out” by The Beatles on Genius Thumbnail & BannerMade with Adobe Creative Cloud Express GifsCreated with EZGif Specific InformationRolling Stone Original SoundtrackThe Beatles - We Can Work It Out (Officical Music Video)

Spring Song from 4 Short Pieces - Frank Bridge (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/63a15264 Photo by Joel Holland on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to perform on my trumpet «Spring Song», an instrumental piece from the collection 4 Short Pieces for Violin and Piano, catalog H.104, composed by Frank Bridge in 1912 in England. This musical piece consists of four short pieces: meditation, spring song, lullaby, and country dance. They were written for an educational purpose for advanced students and were dedicated to Cynthia Lubbock, a student and patron of the composer. This song has an allegretto con moto tempo and is in the key of G major, with a time signature of 2/4. It has a brief lyrical ABA form, and its melody has a bright, delicate, and optimistic character. The dynamics are expressive, with ritardandi and nuances ranging from piano to forte. This work clearly belongs to the early romantic stage of the author. Without a doubt, it is a beautiful piece, and I am glad to have performed it. Photo by Winston Chen on Unsplash I really like the role of the musical director, of the one who carries the baton. In organizations and in society, the need for direction, coordination, and unity is vital. In my personal life, I have learned that to be a good leader, it is important to know how to be a good follower. Humility, sensitivity, and preparation are key to leadership. It is not a matter of trying to impose oneself, but of serving, helping, and supporting a noble cause. We have learned through sad experiences that those who try to impose themselves and exercise unfair dominion lose the respect and connection with their followers. The director must know the piece, the voices, the context, and know the team with whom they work. When an orchestra follows the baton with humility, the result does not exalt the director, but the work itself. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this performance. Blessings to everyone this week. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/51fc7be8 Photo by blocks on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this wonderful #Music community. I'm delighted to play "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" on my trumpet, a pop song composed by Burt Bacharach and Hal David for the Broadway musical Promises, Promises (1968). I love Dionne Warwick's version; it's my favorite. Her style is thoughtful, elegant, and charming. The song speaks of how love can be an experience that brings disappointment, pain, and abandonment. This piece is in the key of F major, but I play it in D major. The melody is ascending with conversational intervals. The tempo is moderate, with a 4/4 time signature and a rhythm influenced by bossa nova and light swing. It's a viral song that has been used as background music in social media videos, movies, and TV series. Photo by Mike Giles on Unsplash I was recently enjoying a series that I felt a strong connection to because one of the main characters was a songwriter. She hadn't experienced rejection, heartbreak, or disappointment, and she struggled to express those feelings in her lyrics. This made me reflect on why these sad lyrics and stories resonate with us. I believe we always have a need to cover up and soothe our pain. Those songs we call "heartbreak songs" allow us to vent, feel empathy, and connect with our own experiences. Heartbreak is stimulating and uses the same chemicals as love. When we listen to a song like this, we begin to appreciate what we have and what we have in ourselves. Love is often idealized in music, and it's linked to suffering. As some say, you suffer, but you also experience joy. Heartbreak doesn't signify failure, but rather overcoming a noble challenge. Undoubtedly, it reminds us that we are alive. I hope you enjoy this interpretation. I'll Never Fall In Love Again What do you get when you fall in love? I have the pleasure of performing with my trumpet «Keeping the Love Alive», a song that mixes genres like soft rock and pop rock composed by Richard Supa. The lyrics talk about the fear of loving again, how this feeling is a conscious decision, and about not giving up in the face of difficulties. Air Supply is one of my favorite bands, and there are several iconic songs that I love. Many of those ballads appeared in movies in the 1980s. I perform this piece in the key of G major with a slight change at the end to Bb major. The rhythm is moderate, steady, and with a time signature of 4/4. The melody is beautiful, simple but expressively romantic. The timbre of Russell Hitchcock's clean and melancholic voice sounds incredible. Undoubtedly, a memorable classic. Photo by Nick Fewings on Unsplash Recently I have seen how some young people act impulsively, without measuring the consequences. Some friends had a motorcycle accident. They were coming on the highway at night and lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a vehicle. One of them lost his life, and the other is fighting for his life in a hospital in intensive care. It has been completely painful to see the suffering and sacrifices of the family. In both trivial and important matters, we must not forget that prudence is a way of acting wisely. Prudence helps us forge our character. Listening to and following the advice of those who have lived longer than us is key. Music also has its risks, and we must listen to it with moderation and respect. One chooses to listen to music at the right amount and in the right place. If it makes us lose concentration on our path, perhaps we fall into a sewer from which we cannot get out. Blessings to all. So Easy (To Fall in Love) - Olivia Dean (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/73d54ad1 Photo by Rosalie Gdy on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I have the pleasure of performing with my trumpet «So Easy (To Fall in Love)», a song that blends genres such as Jazz pop, bossa nova, contemporary pop, composed by Olivia Dean, Amy Allen, John Ryan, and Max Wolfgang. The song was inspired by observing how her friends approached their first dates with anxiety and insecurity, focusing too much on pleasing the other person and little on recognizing their own worth. This piece is in E♭ major, and in my case, I perform it in G major. The melody is flirtatious, firm but relaxed. The time signature is 4/4 with a moderate tempo and a groove inspired by bossa nova. The main challenge presented by the song is that I come after a weekend of inactivity, and it was difficult for me to maintain breath control. A slight timing mismatch in one phrase. Photo by Laura Fuhrman on Unsplash I recently watched a movie where both protagonists had incurable diseases and where they took advantage of those last days to be happy and to leave a mark on the lives of others. The purpose of life is to be happy and to make those who accompany us on our earthly journey happy. Music transcends, and leaves a trace of our humanity, of our identity, and of our desires. There are many songs that come to mind that connect me with very lived experiences, some sad, others happy. Heaven is described with angelic voices, and it is likely that those melodies are a construction and inspiration of God. I am pleased to perform with my trumpet «Risk It All», a beautiful romantic bolero with mariachi influence composed by Bruno Mars, Dernst Emile II, Philip Lawrence, and James Fauntleroy as part of the album The Romantic (2026). I love the lyrics; it is undoubtedly a promise of love to the person one loves: to climb mountains, cross seas, learn to fly if necessary. I perform this piece in the key of F major, with a slight modulation to Ab major. The melody seems incredible to me because it conveys a feeling of warmth and longing. It has a time signature of 4/4, a relaxed rhythm that gradually grows progressively. It begins with the plucked and reflective sound of the guitar, and then the orchestra joins in. I was looking for songs to record this week, and when I discovered this one by Bruno Mars, I knew I had found a precious gem. I remember that some time ago I started investing in cryptocurrencies without having much knowledge. I had seen some tutorials on the internet and taken a couple of courses, which gave me enough confidence to invest in certain tokens. The real secret to investing is patience. Therefore, it is usually more difficult for people with low resources to take financial risks. I have noticed that those who have greater wealth do not worry as much about losing money; they make decisions after analyzing the pros and cons, and if they fail, they can recover without it affecting their stability. Now that Hive is low it is time to invest, accumulate HP, and wait. That risk can be beneficial for the future. Although the crypto market is unpredictable, it is worth taking the risk. Crazy for you - Madonna (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/41469dab Photo by Shawn Tung on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I have the pleasure of performing with my trumpet «Crazy For You», a pop ballad with torch-style influences composed by John Bettis and Jon Lind, and performed by Madonna for the soundtrack of the movie Vision Quest (1985). The lyrics speak of an intense attraction, a romantic desire, and the powerful connection that exists between two people. I love 80s Madonna; she brings back such fond memories of the music I listened to as a child. Nowadays people are surprised by the bizarre and the eccentricity of some musicians, but at that time, there were also such artists. Without a doubt, the Material Girl was one of them. The melody is soft, flowing, and sentimental. The rhythm is within a 4/4 time signature, and the tempo is moderate. The sheet music I perform is in G major. Photo by Jorge Campos on Unsplash What is it that makes things have value? Recently my phone broke, and in this interconnected world, it has become a necessity. Time without a phone has also made me reflect on the time one loses on these valuable devices. Scarcity is what makes things gain value. In some places, water is difficult to access, and many people travel hundreds of kilometers to get it. When we do not have it, that is when we value it the most. I love being a musical content creator. The fact that it is not rewarded does not mean it lacks value. The production, effort, dedication, and the audience's perspective are also factors that influence its relevance. To God, we are of immense value, including our decisions. In life, we make sacrifices, and over time we realize that they are worth it. I hope you enjoy my performance. Thank you. I'll Be There (For You) - Martin Nievera (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/9c8823b5 Photo by Michael Rivera on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I have the pleasure of sharing my trumpet performance of "I'll Be There (For You)", a pop ballad composed by Martin Nievera and Louie Ocampo. The lyrics are very beautiful because they talk about being present through the ups and downs, staying by the side of the loved one, and inviting them not to give up and to overcome difficulties. On a couple of occasions, I have recorded some Filipino-origin songs, and this mid-90s piece has been an incredible choice. The melody is beautiful, and the tempo of the song is slow to moderate. I love how the piano sounds in the background; it is a song that warms your heart and conveys a special message. The world of music is not only what we see or what is within our reach. It is a universe without limits. Photo by mali desha on Unsplash Today I pay tribute to my grandmother Ana, who recently passed away at the age of 97 and whom I consider to have been an angel in her family's life, a heroine, an example for everyone. A loving woman, with a strong character and honesty, who taught us about the value of work. Until her last days, she always had aspirations to undertake and be self-sufficient. She was a woman of the countryside who dedicated her life to cultivating the land and raising animals such as chickens, ducks, cows, and geese. A few months before her passing, she bought a calf to raise. That indeed is a true challenge in her longevity. Anyone would have rested and retired from any labor in the last years of their life, but that was not part of her plans. It was difficult to separate her from her land, from her way of life. She would visit us for a few days, and as soon as she saw an opportunity, she would return to her farm. I hope this song and this tribute are for her enjoyment. I am pleased to share my trumpet rendition of "Slipping Through My Fingers", a pop ballad composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. The song came about when Björn watched his seven-year-old daughter Linda as she went off to school, feeling that time was slipping through his fingers. I’ve recently heard it in many videos on my social media, and this piece has a touching, nostalgic quality. I love ABBA; they were one of those groups that, along with The Beatles and the Bee Gees, formed a trio in my musical tastes during childhood. Surely, you also remember it from the musical Mamma Mia (1999). This piece is in the key of A major, and in my case, I play it in G major. The tempo is moderate, with a reflective rhythm in a 4/4 time signature. Photo by Andrew Ebrahim on Unsplash If there is one thing I have learned, it is that it’s much better to invest than to spend without thinking about tomorrow. As a child, I found it very hard to save, because as soon as I had any income, I spent it on sweets. Nowadays, I try to be more moderate and not spend on things that have no value. Spending just for the sake of spending can create feelings similar to watching videos on social media and liking them. It can become an addiction that distracts us from the things that are most important. Today we may be fine, but we don’t know what the future holds. It is key to prepare for adversity by being modest with expenses and maintaining a financial reserve. One must be alert to opportunities; as my grandfather used to say, "opportunities only come three times in life". Although it may sound exaggerated, the number could be higher. When those opportunities arise, it is important to invest wisely, consider all variables, and manage our resources in a smart and intelligent way. I hope you enjoy this beautiful theme. Blessings. Bendiciones. Slipping Through My Fingers Schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness And I have to sit down for a while The feeling that I'm losing her forever And without really entering her world I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter That funny little girl Slipping through my fingers all the time I try to capture every minute The feeling in it Slipping through my fingers all the time Do I really see what's in her mind? Each time I think I'm close to knowing She keeps on growing Slipping through my fingers all the time Sleep in our eyes, her and me at the breakfast table Barely awake, I let precious time go by Then when she's gone, there's that odd melancholy feeling And a sense of guilt I can't deny What happened to the wonderful adventures The places I had planned for us to go? (Slipping through my fingers all the time) Well, some of that we did, but most we didn't And why, I just don't know Slipping through my fingers all the time I try to capture every minute The feeling in it Slipping through my fingers all the time Do I really see what's in her mind? Each time I think I'm close to knowing She keeps on growing Slipping through my fingers all the time Sometimes, I wish that I could freeze the picture And save it from the funny tricks of time Slipping through my fingers Slipping through my fingers all the time Schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile Fuentes / Sources ImagesObtained in Unsplash Lyrics“Slipping Through My Fingers” by ABBA on Genius Thumbnail & BannerMade with Adobe Creative Cloud Express GifsCreated with EZGif Specific InformationGigwise Backing trackSlipping Through My Fingers - ABBA

I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of «There Will Never Be Another You», a Jazz standard by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon from 1942 for the movie Iceland. I have had the opportunity to listen to many versions, among which I want to highlight those by Arturo Sandoval, Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald. The lyrics are an emotional farewell filled with nostalgia, acceptance, gratitude, and acknowledging that the person it addresses is unique and irreplaceable in one's life. It has a 32-bar AABA form with II–V–I cadences, a diatonic melody with lyrical beauty. This piece has a traditional swing style within a 4/4 time signature, with occasional syncopation. The original key is Eb Major, but in my case, I play it in F Major. It accompanies us both in happy moments and during emotional lows. Recently, I’ve had experiences that have taken me out of the rhythm of everyday life. Fortunately, the music I’ve listened to in these days has been comforting and has helped me experience peace, calm, and tranquility. I love jazz because it breaks away from the traditional structure and dares to do things we don’t expect. It’s like running with your heart while the air hits your face and caresses your soul. One of my favorite versions is sung in the movie Moulin Rouge (2001) by Ewan McGregor. The lyrics speak of an innocent, genuine, and honest love that transforms life. It was born at a breakfast at Elton's mother's house in Northwood Hills, London, using a piece of worksheet stained with tea or coffee. Without a doubt, it is an example that creativity can arise from simple moments in life and leave indelible marks on humanity's musical memory. This musical piece is in the key of Eb major and has a memorable melody characterized by its naturalness and gradual climax. The tempo is moderate with a syncopated rhythm. And the thing is, one is not a magician, nor a fortune-teller, nor can one predict the future. Sometimes things come into our lives that we never anticipate. We can't control those things. I try not to worry and to have an attitude more like Timon and Pumbaa, characters from the animated movie The Lion King. Life is full of changes, and for some we can prepare ourselves in advance. For others, we have to face them with courage and bravery. That's why one shouldn't cling to material things. Those things are fleeting. The material is an illusion, and the spiritual arises as an option, an alternative that transcends the physical, time, and worries. In a musical score, we find rhythmic patterns, alterations, and unexpected symbols, but we have to adapt and overcome them. I hope you enjoy my interpretation. Sending good vibes to everyone. Johnny Mathis sings it in the movie of the same name in a scene set in an elegant restaurant. The lyrics talk about how love begins with things as simple as a smile, a small door that opens to a world of hope and intimacy. I perform this musical piece in the key of G major, though it was likely originally in C major. The melody is wonderful, soft, and reflective. The rhythm is a slow ballad with a 4/4 time signature. The dynamics are like soft velvet and controlled. The harmony has the aesthetic of the Great American Songbook and 1950s orchestral pop. But not one that meets a standard, nor a fake one to please the customer, but one that comes out with sincerity and authenticity. I am pleased to share my trumpet interpretation of «You Don't Have To Say You Love Me», a song of the orchestral baroque pop genre with soul and dramatic ballad influences, composed by Pino Donaggio and Vito Pallavicini in 1966. The original melody is Italian, and the English version is by Vicki Wickham and Simon Napier Bell. The lyrics talk about holding on to a love that is slipping away and accepting an unequal relationship in order not to lose the other person. The song is originally in G♭ major, but I perform it in F major, with key changes to D major and ending in E major. The melody has wide melodic leaps with long and sustained notes. The tempo is moderate and steady with a 4/4 time signature. Photo by Amy Reed on Unsplash It is rare for me to wish someone luck. I believe that many things that happen in the world are neither coincidence nor the result of fate or chance. I think God is involved in every detail of our lives and that trials are necessary to grow intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially. Each challenge becomes an opportunity to develop our full potential. In my personal life, I strive to strengthen my trust in God and make wise decisions that do not lead me to be part of the statistics. I prefer to maintain language more focused on my beliefs, such as saying: 'God bless you.' When I face trials, I always try to see the positive side and understand the purpose for which they happen. If they are not the result of my decisions, nor someone else’s, then I trust that God has something better for me. I hope you enjoy my performance this week. You Don't Have To Say You Love Me When I said I needed you You said you would always stay It wasn't me who changed but you And now you've gone away Don't you see that now you've gone And I'm left here on my own That I have to follow you And beg you to come home? You don't have to say you love me Just be close at hand You don't have to stay forever I will understand Believe me, believe me I can't help but love you But believe me I'll never tie you down Left alone with just a memory Life seems dead and so unreal All that's left is loneliness There's nothing left to feel You don't have to say you love me Just be close at hand You don't have to stay forever I will understand Believe me, believe me You don't have to say you love me Just be close at hand You don't have to stay forever I will understand Believe me, believe me, believe me Fuentes / Sources ImagesObtained in Unsplash Lyrics“You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me” by Dusty Springfield on Genius Thumbnail & BannerMade with Adobe Creative Cloud Express GifsCreated with EZGif Specific InformationFinancial Times Original SoundtrackYou Don't Have To Say You Love Me - Dusty Springfield

Heart and Soul - Hoagy Carmichael (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/c40cfbd5 Photo by Rod Long on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet rendition of “Heart and Soul”, a jazz and traditional pop standard composed by Hoagy Carmichael and Frank Loesser in 1938. The lyrics talk about a sudden and irresistible infatuation during a nighttime encounter and how love can transform our lives. I love this jazz classic; its melody is smooth, cheerful, and also romantic. I’ve had the opportunity to listen to many versions in both movies and TV shows. This musical piece is in the key of F major, but I play it in G major. It was likely originally composed in C major. The melody is based on the diatonic major scale with stepwise movements. The time signature is 4/4 with a moderate tempo and a steady beat. This version has a more jazz-like harmony. Photo by Nathan Dumlao on Unsplash If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that love saves us and heals us. It's incredible how this simple ingredient can change our surroundings. Love is key in a teaching environment. When I was a child, I had a teacher who treated me with a lot of love, and that significantly impacted my life, especially my performance as a student. Very rarely does one learn through yelling and harsh words. Music is the language of love. There are melodies that caress our soul and become tied to our being. It is in those moments of happiness that we remember them. I remember one time, on my way to school, I passed a street and saw a woman dancing in front of her house to a popular song of the time. She was in her happiest moment; you could feel it. And that is the power that music has—to save us and heal us. It lifts us, captivates us, and shakes us out of sadness. I hope you enjoy this performance. Heart and Soul Heart and soul I fell in love with you Heart and soul The way a fool would do Madly Because you held me tight And stole a kiss in the night Heart and soul I begged to be adored Lost control And tumbled overboard Gladly That magic night we kissed There in the moon mist Oh, but your lips were thrilling Much too thrilling Never before were mine so Strangely willing But now I see What one embrace can do Look at me It's got me loving you Madly That little kiss you stole Held all my heart and soul Oh, but your lips were thrilling Much too thrilling Never before were mine so Strangely willing But now I see What one embrace can do Look at me It's got me loving you Madly That little kiss you stole Held all my heart and soul Oh, but your lips were thrilling Much too thrilling Never before were mine so Strangely willing But now I see What one embrace can do Look at me It's got me loving you Madly That little kiss you stole Held all my heart and soul Fuentes / Sources ImagesObtained in Unsplash Lyrics“Heart and Soul” by Larry Clinton & His Orchestra on Genius Thumbnail & BannerMade with Adobe Creative Cloud Express GifsCreated with EZGif Specific InformationPerforming Arts News Backing trackHeart and Soul (Remastered)

People Alone - Randy Crawford (Cover) by @yisusth

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yisusth/bujbmzjr Photo by Benjamin Davies on Unsplash A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I have the wonderful honor of sharing my trumpet performance of «People Alone», a soul song that blends funk and pop soul, composed by Lalo Schifrin and Will Jennings and performed by Randy Crawford for the 1980 film The Competition. The lyrics talk about how people can feel lonely and the need to feel loved. This piece is originally in the key of E Major. In my case, I perform it in G major, with key changes to C major and A major. The melody is very beautiful, smooth, and with repetitive phrases. The tempo is moderate with a relaxed rhythm. This year started with great challenges, and after a couple of weeks of inactivity, we are trying to get back into the rhythm of last year and do things better. Photo by Kelly Sikkema on Unsplash Sometimes we may feel that everything in our life lacks order and we don't know where to start. In my personal experience, I have learned that prioritizing our actions on what is most important helps things flow naturally and with clarity. Each of us is responsible for our time, talents, and resources. One of the things that has helped me maintain order is setting realistic goals and using tools like planners or daily schedules. Disorder is not just physical, but also emotional and spiritual. When we make significant changes, this can help us free ourselves from stress and burdens. I usually start with what is within my reach; if it is not within my reach, I shouldn't worry, because many times it is irrelevant. For example, organizing the room is within my reach, and that can impact the way we view the world we live in.
