#4 Get out of Bed Yoga

Join Nina as she gets you going with the traditional as well as an easier variation of Surya Namaskar (Salute to the Sun) each morning. Enjoy this quick practice to kick start your mornings. Get yourself out of bed and into the right frame of mind for the rest of the day. She opens up and explains how she struggled to get up in the mornings and by doing something simple like moving and walking as soon as she woke up helped to get her motivated and on track for the rest of the day. Remember, moving helps to kick start you through that kapha phase of the day. For more information on Nina Saacks and classes in Tokai, Cape Town and or where she is currently travelling please visit www.saacks.com or email [email protected] to have your questions answered in a future episode. Please remember that postures and sessions are only suggestions and are aimed at students who practice with Nina regularly. For those with any health conditions please ensure you visit a health care practitioner before partaking in any form of movement, physical exercise or yoga especially via audio recordings and podcasts. Remember that attending a class with an experienced teacher is always the first best options but for those who can't make it to a class always ensure you listen to your body as you work through this session, stop at any point when things are unclear or if you feel uncomfortable. Have a beautiful day!
