86: The Bizarre Scandal: The 1700s Trial of the Century & the 1793 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie presents the story of a cousin-marrying, plantation owning, tobacco producing, aristocratic family in Colonial Virginia. What started off as a love triangle ended in shocking allegations, salacious rumors, hotshot attorneys, and a great scandal that became the 1700s “Trial of the Century”. Next, in the 1793 Zodiac Back, Amy Jo presents the astrological influence on the city of Washington DC, astrology’s historic impact on America’s early leaders, the outer planet placements of 1793, and Mr. “the Ferret of Comets” himself, Charles Messier and the sport of comet hunting. And finally, Holy $hit! Uranus has moved into Gemini! For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

85: 1793 Timeline Twist & the Great American Plague

On today’s episode, Valerie’s Timeline Twist features a smattering of 1793 major events, the awful (unintended?) ramifications of Eli Whitney’s cotton gin, Dominique Jean Larrey’s “Flying Ambulances”, the short-lived and totally unflattering Belly Pad Craze, and a butter-heavy “Pan-Cake” recipe from the Knight Family Cookbook. Next, Amy Jo covers the panic, and devastation of the yellow fever epidemic that devastated Philadelphia in the second half of 1793. In a time when the miasma theory reigned, origin theories were shaky and therefore treatments were, shall we say, creative? Citizens (and some doctors) fled the city, while city  leaders leaned on the Freed African Society with unfortunate results. There were heroes, but few were exempt from the sad chaos. 84: The Murder in Room 1046 & the 1935 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares the story of the mysterious unsolved murder of a young man who checked into a Kansas City hotel early in 1935, and the bizarre details of his stay, his murder, the crime scene, and the disturbing investigation that followed. The letters and phone calls received in the aftermath of the crime only served to deepen the mystery. Next, in the 1935 Zodiac Back, Any Jo dives into the astrology of the day, including Pluto in Cancer and the WPA’s Federal Theater Project, the upheaval associated with Uranus in Taurus and a 1935 book called Astronomy, and the spirituality of Neptune in Virgo. Plus! A Moon Moment hinting at what’s to come in 2026. 83: 1935 Timeline Twist & The Bremen Six

On today’s episode, Valerie covers a triple violation of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, feeling the need for speed, new releases like Monopoly, Nylons, and the Wonderbra, top 1935 films, music, and amazing art depicting everyday themes of celebration and struggle, and a Great Gatsby style party during the tough times of the Great Depression in the 1935 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo shares a story about an anti-fascist plot to steal and destroy a prominent flag from a lavish party aboard the German-built ocean liner, the SS Bremen. After an exceedingly brief planning sesh at a local cafe, the Bremen Six boarded the ship, but things did not go as planned. It’s a fun and fascinating tale with some major cameos including FDR (and his grandchild). For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

82: The First Train Robbery in the West & the 1870 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie tells the quintessential 1800s story of seven bandits who attempted the first train robbery in the West. The heist went like clockwork aboard the Central Pacific Overland Express Train, Engine No. 1, but things fell apart quickly afterward thanks to a lone crack investigator and the less than stellar fortitude of a few of the would-be criminals. Next, in the Zodiac Back, Amy Jo covers the present day astrology, as well as Pluto in Taurus, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Cancer, during the Gilded Age, and then, balloons are back, with a man who was way into eclipses, photography, and escaping the Siege of Paris. 81: 1870 Timeline Twist & The Murder of A.P. Crittenden

On today’s episode, Valerie presents a bit of history, including some firsts for African Americans in the USA, balloon mail, “Bourbon’s First Bottler”, an early solution to tinned food, the “Early Bustle Era” (can you say TRIM?), and a massive beer and BBQ party in Syracuse, NY, in the 1870 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo covers the excessively familiar story of a jilted lover turned murderess, but with a dash of extra-dramatic flair. It’s a story involving a gentleman with two first initials (hello 1800s), a ferry (Boat Watch!), a long black veil, a wild west silver mining town, first wave feminism in Gilded Age San Francisco, and not one, but two trials with groundbreaking outcomes. These are a few of our favorite things! 80: The Drowning of Mary Ashford & the 1817 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares the sorrowful tale of Mary Ashford, who met a mysterious fate in the early morning hours after a local community dance. Her case led to the repeal of a long forgotten medieval law after the accused threw down the gauntlet (literally). As if that weren’t enough, Mary’s death is tied to an unsolved case 157 years later, with many eerie similarities (Time=Flat Circle). Next, in the Zodiac Back we look at the outer planet placements of 1817 - ain’t no party like a Sagittarius party! Then Amy Jo outlines details of the natal chart of a famous leader of the Venezuelan independence movement. We round out the ZB by looking forward to the astrology of 2026.For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

79: 1817 Timeline Twist & The Beguiling Story of Princess Cariboo

On today’s episode, Valerie’s Timeline Twist features some 1817 history (and warcake), The Cook’s Oracle cookbook including 11 ketchups and a Wow-Wow sauce, a cheat sheet for nervous dancers, a crazy strong liqueur, and the invention of the first strider bike known as the Laufmaschine (among other names). Next, Amy Jo shares the fascinating tale of a mysterious woman who walked out of the water into an English village near Bristol wearing a turban and speaking an unknown language. Locals were stumped until an unexpected translator revealed her as royalty - Supertwist! The mystery woman was able to bask in her newfound notoriety for a while - until nosy Mrs. Neale had something to say. 78: The Clinton MA Circus Trouble of 1907 & the 1907 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares an amusing story from the summer of 1907, when the small town of Clinton, Massachusetts was visited by not one, but two circuses. We discuss the almost back-to-back incidents including ladies jumping herds of elephants, gambling and sharp practices, a near riot, and a violent thunderstorm - all of which caused an evening of panic and confusion, and more than a little trouble for Clintonians. Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac back takes us through some of the current astrology - hello water trines! We discuss Jupiter in Cancer through the years and Uranus moving into Gemini in the near future, before moving on to just how Neptunian that Dancing Pig actually was! And since Neptune reflects the art of a period, we also touch on an 18th century one-named celeb, Snyder. IYKYK. 77: 1907 Timeline Twist & The Irish Crown Jewel Heist

On today’s episode, Valerie presents some major strides in women’s rights and transportation during the Edwardian Era, some sweet new releases (whoop, whoop!), possibly the creepiest fine arts clip we’ve EVER had, and some important dates in aviation history, in the 1907 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo tells the wild tale of the Jewels of the Order of St. Patrick, which mysteriously disappeared from Dublin Castle in July of 1907. The bungling was prominent, but the safety of the jewels depended solely on one easily compromised man. Theories abound, but the most intriguing - a scandalous and far-reaching coverup by those closest to the case. 76: The Cigar Girl Murder & the 1841 Zodiac Back

On the Season 2 finale episode, Valerie tells the woeful tale of the murder of the beautiful Tobacco Emporium clerk, Mary Rogers. After her second disappearance her body was found near Hoboken, and with so many admirers, who could say who was the culprit? Her story became one of the first works of fiction based on a real crime. Despite the popularity of Edgar Allen Poe’s, The Mystery of Marie Rogêt, the crime remains unsolved. Next, in the 1841 Zodiac Back Amy Jo outlines the highlights of the 1841 astrology, we discuss the Jupiter Saturn conjunction, and James Braid - the father of hypnotism - and his discovery of mesmerism (animal magnetism). We briefly touch on Insane Clown Posse and their ways, and round it off with Eclipse Season in the Moon Moment. Next, Amy Jo covers the Guria Rebellion, along with a smattering of other 1841 events such as the Cincinnati Riots, the Rebecca Riots, the Potato Riots, the Dorr Rebellion, and the Creole Case, as we discuss what causes a population to rise up against oppression and push back against a reigning power structure. 74: The Last Murderess to be Burned at the Stake & the 1776 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie tells the twisted tale of Elizabeth Broadingham and the love triangle that ended in murder. When Elizabeth’s real life became too much to bear she ran off to create a new one. Once she tasted the fruits of illicit love she couldn’t let it go, so she devised a plan and “bewitched” her reluctant lover into carrying out the dreadful deed. Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac Back covers the 1776 outer planet placements, we touch on eclipses and Lexell’s Comet (NOT seen that year, but placing in the Top Ten Lost Comets List!), and discuss the famous USA ‘birth chart published by the infamous freemason Ebenezer Sibley, who held some questionable beliefs. We round out the episode with the Moon Moment and what we can expect in 2025. Um, August is looking alright. 73: 1776 Timeline Twist & The Cannibal of Congleton

On today’s episode, Valerie outlines some revolutionary events ('twas a big year!), including a shit-ton of battles, and the world’s first submarine, whose mission failed, but at least he looked ridiculous while trying. We also cover a 1776 inspired album full of bangers, what the founding fathers ate on the FIRST 4th of July, and discuss the hottest tech trends of the day in the 1776 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo presents the ghastly story of Sam the Butcher, and the slaying of sweet Anne Smith the balladeer as she walked through Priestly Fields. The event terrorized the town of Congleton, which was known more for its festivals, flowers, ribbons, beers, and bears - they wrote a lively tune about it! Thanks to some cannibalism-curious comments, and even more shady behaviour, the vicious scoundrel was brought to justice and even put on display for the littles to observe. 72: The Hope Street Resurrectionist Scandal & the 1826 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie recounts the story of a macabre scandal that shocked Georgian Era Liverpool when a devastating discovery was made after examining three foul-smelling 42 gallon casks that had been left the night before at George’s Dock. That discovery led to another, even  more horrific discovery in the cellar of a boy’s school run by a local reverend, and a manhunt for the suspected gang of five ensued. This story is so 1800s it hurts! Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac Back covers Uranus in Gemini, the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the US Chiron return, which is both an asteroid and a comet, we look at the charts of Jefferson Davis and Stephen Foster, and touch on the Carrington Event. Yikes! 71: 1826 Timeline Twist & The Great Christmas Eggnog Riot

On today’s episode, we discuss the invention of “Friction Lights/Lucifers”, the very first Cowes Regatta, brought to us by the playboy prince, George IV, the cinematic universe of Kevin Costner brought to us by The Last of the Mohicans, the first ever photograph, and the time when frenemies turned penpals (Jefferson and Adams) died within hours of each other on the Jubilee of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, in the 1826 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo presents the delightful story of dairy laden debauchery at West Point Military Academy, when cadets had had enough of the strict rules, and hatched a plan with the help of the “most important bartender in American history”, Benny Havens. After the success of the secret nighttime mission, the revelry escalated into door-knocking games, hiding in plain sight, the reading of The Riot Act, the suspicion of an impending massacre, stolen instruments, murder plots, piled furniture, and finally an inquest. For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

70: The Deadly Duel of Future President Andrew Jackson & the 1806 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares the petty and ridiculous tale of Andrew Jackson’s murderous duel. This story proves true any rumors of his violent temper and obsession with retribution for ANY perceived wrongs. We outline the dramatic name-calling, the series of “diss tracks” between him and Charles Dickinson (and friends), the challenge to a duel, the unsavory strategies to win, and a controversial end to the events of that fateful day. Next, Amy Jo presents the 1806 astrology, including Tecumseh’s Eclipse, which when correctly predicted by Shawnee Chief Tecumseh’s brother, Shawnee prophet Tenskwatawa, helped to further their cause of forming a united Native Peoples coalition. Lastly, we discuss Pluto in Pisces, Biela’s Comet, and whatever happened to Merriweather Lewis? 69: 1806 Timeline Twist & The Salem Divorce Scandal of 1806

On today’s episode, we visit our old friends Napoleon and Lewis & Clark. We discuss the beautiful Arc de Triomphe monument, Lewis & Clark’s arrival in St. Louis, which was received with great fanfare (except for that one guy), the invention of carbon paper, the cocktail of cocktails - The Old Fashioned, and finally anthropometry in the 1806 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo tells the sensational story of West v. West, a trial that shocked Salem, Massachusetts society, when wealthy Mrs. Elizabeth “Betsy” West charged the less wealthy Mr. West with adultery during the marriage. It was the first divorce case after a change in divorce law, the scandalous details of which were made much more entertaining by the salacious diary entries of the gossipy Reverend Bentley, who detailed the story seemingly from beginning to end. 68: The Surprising Rebellion of Chicot County & the 1871 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares the astonishing story of a rebellion that ensued after a senseless, racially motivated murder in Arkansas, an area that was reeling when its economy was turned upside down after the civil war. The retribution that followed, and the mob’s extended presence in the town afterward was seen as terrorizing or tense, depending on the news source. Next, Amy Jo covers our current day astrology, including the upcoming Gemini New Moon, as well as the astrology of 1871. We discuss OUR Neptune placements, the 1871 eclipses, Comet Encke losing its tail (Boo!), and a ‘Mysterious Meteor Theory’ for Michigan's Great Fires of 1871 in this week’s Zodiac Back. For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

67: 1871 Timeline Twist & The Whaling Disaster of 1871

On today’s episode, Valerie touches on the Ku Klux Klan Act and the Franco-Prussian War, including an unpleasant but likely necessary Paris Seige Menu, new releases of some favorite foods, maybe the first essential oil diffuser, and a historical Easter-Egg laden 1871 Italian map (along with Reddit comments) in the Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo tells the gross and gory details of the story of the Whaling Disaster of 1871, where 33 whaling ships were caught in a precarious situation due to their own bravado and stupidity. We discuss a little whaling history, and the tie-in to Moby Dick as well as just how bad it had to have smelled on those lengthy voyages, just so we could light up our cities. 66: The Attempted Kidnapping of Kaiser Wilhelm II & the 1919 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie tells the story of a group of 114th Field Artillery Regiment men, who shortly after the close of WWI, set out for retribution by kidnapping the most sought after man of the day. They were led by Colonel Luke Lea (yes - that’s his real name), and armed with confidence, a Sam Brown Belt, fake papers, and a Cadillac. While the mission failed, we think it makes for one entertaining story. Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac Back covers the astrology of 1919,which included 4 fiery mercury retrogrades, the eclipse that made Einstein a household name, as well as a special “comet me, bruh” featuring the founder of the Lick Observatory Archives who discovered interstellar bands before retiring to raise her kids and host astrophysicists for tea. 65: 1919 Timeline Twist & The Anarchist Letter Bombings of 1919

On today’s episode, Valerie’s Timeline Twist outlines a wild year, including wars, riots, and strikes, as well as a LOT of beverages, as folks prepared for prohibition - Boo! We also discuss the second-ever cocktail book written by the highly skilled, famous African-American bartender, Julian Anderson, an appropriated and offbeat new dance called the “Black Bottom”, and the short-lived magazine, Good Morning, featuring the Poor Fish. Next, Amy Jo tells the intense story of the Anarchist Letter Bombings that terrorized post-war America, when pro-labor Galleanists carried out coordinated attacks in April and June of that year which contributed to the backlash of the Palmer Raids and the First Red Scare, although they didn’t know there would be another Red Scare at that time. On today’s episode, Valerie shares the calamitous story of the Bisbee Massacre and the Cochise County Cowboys, who galloped into the small Arizona mining town in search of a BIG payoff. The haphazard plan and murderous spree resulted in multiple dead, TWO mobs, a lynching, and a brand spankin’  new gallows, large enough to hang all the outlaws at once. In the Zodiac Back, Amy Jo covers the astrology and eclipses of 1883, we discuss the chart of Mussolini, and check in with the First Family of Astronomy (in our opinion) - The Herschels. Our sign of the week is the mutable water sign, Pisces, and we look at the astrology of the Southern Hemisphere and Maori Astronomy. For content sources visit our website: youaintawoofinpod.comFollow and SupportInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/youaintawoofinpod/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouAintaWoofin/Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/youaintawoofinpod.bsky.social Patreon: http://patreon.com/user?u=106344174

On today’s episode, Valerie’s Timeline Twist presents notable moments in American history of the Constitutional variety, bartering for butter, George Washington’s boozy farewell party at Philadelphia hotspot, the City Tavern, and a few fascinating facts about the US Constitution - when the founding fathers created a republic - if we can keep it. Next, Amy Jo tells the wild tale of the Militia Muster Murder, starting with a little history on militias and “Cutting the Mustard”. During a tumultuous and productive year in America, including protest, rebellions (Shay’s), excessive taxation, and young men forced to muster, a terrible accident occurred between Daniel Foster and Amos Chapman resulting in death by musket ball. 60: Murder & Cover-up at the Algiers Motel & the 1967 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie shares a tragic and all too familiar story of violence against three young black men in 1967 Detroit. The killings took place within the backdrop of a race rebellion, while the “Summer of Love” was dreamily unfolding on the West Coast. We cover the setting, the horrific incident, and the frustrating aftermath. Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac Back covers the 1967 comet Ikeya-Seki, an unfulfilled plan to rendezvous with Halley’s comet in the 80s, and Beatles Astrology! Yay! Why was Paul such a dick? Why was George so into mysticism? Why is Ringo so nurturing? And why was John so into the power of the people? We discuss our sign of the week Capricorn, and finally dig into the upcoming March astrology. Ready or not, here it comes! 59: 1967 Timeline Twist & The Patterson-Gimlin Film

On today’s episode, Valerie presents a most eventful year in American history including war protests, race rebellions, the early Apollo program, the introduction of some well-known junk food, music in the Summer of Love, questionable recipes, and fashion & feminism in the music-heavy 1967 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo breaks down the long history of the wild man of the woods, who, in the mid 20th century became Bigfoot, thanks to several West Coast incidents that spurred interest in the creature. When Patterson and Gimlin happened upon the “real thing” in 1967, they unknowingly captured the most widely viewed footage besides the Zapruter film. 58: Germany’s Coldest Case Ever Solved & The 1835 Zodiac Back

On today’s episode, Valerie presents the murder of Johann Heinrich Rieber, beloved mayor of Bönnigheim, Germany. Despite quick action by neighbors (by 1835 standards, that is), the case went cold. A chance conversation in Washington D.C. four decades later with a man who’d been accused of the crime, revealed the name of the killer - a war hero, praised by Robert E. Lee. Next, in Amy Jo’s 1835 Zodiac Back, we discuss the Feb/Mar 2025 astrology and the sign of Sagittarius. We peek at some interesting 1835 natal charts - one volatile person you know has some interesting asteroids in there! We dive into Neptune in Aquarius and cover some past predictions for the transit (no hoverboards!), as well as how it related to The Great Moon Hoax from last week. On today’s episode, Valerie’s Timeline Twist includes the Texas Rev(olution), 1835 personal ads, we discuss the marketability of corn milk, the fanciest of fancy meringue cakes, the end of bloodletting and the beginning of double blind trials (were they really trials?), wax statues, and packing the court. Next, Amy Jo presents the fanciful story of the Great Moon Hoax of 1835. The beginning of sensationalism in the press and hints of yellow journalism helped set the stage for a wild, serialized, imaginative set of stories that grew in popularity by the day, kicking off debate in the streets as to their veracity. There’s a cameo by a disgruntled Edgar Allen Poe, oh, and John Herchel is back! Yay! On today’s episode, Valerie shares the story of the unsolved Gilded Age murder of Mr. John Sheedy, a real estate developer, gaming establishment owner, and all around “sporting” man. We discuss several possible instigators and consider the motivation for the attack, in yet another caning story that also includes adultery, scandal, racism, and greed on the Great Plains! Next, Amy Jo’s 1891 Zodiac Back starts us off with a fable and the roots of fascism, we delve into the February astrology and our sign of the week, Scorpio! Next, Amy Jo tells the tragic story of the sinking of the SS Utopia as it cruised into the Strait of Gibraltar. The SS Utopia was a Scottish Anchor Line vessel, with a bedazzled captain and not enough lifeboats. The swift current and high winds on that fateful night took things from bad to worse. This wild story includes a bit of the prison’s history and the chaos of the escape and its aftermath. Move over Johnny Cash. (Just kidding, we love him!) Next, Amy Jo covers the recent node changes and the upcoming new moon in Aquarius - just like 1903. Our sign of the week is Libra, and Amy Jo identifies the planet of transportation. We find out what our sun sign “practical mode of transportation” is, and a final highlight is the story of Allen Leo and the criminal history of astrology, in the 1903 Zodiac Back. We also discuss one of the first cross-country road trips, musical theater of the day, and the serious debate about whether Nascar is a sport. Next, Amy Jo tells the mysterious tale of a lesser-known, but still totally badass cryptid from the early 20th century midwest, and the truly American (and extremely non-scientific) reaction the prominent men of the town had when they encountered it. We discuss numerous former cryptids that are now mostly well-known animals (Teddy Roosevelt?). And finally, Amy Jo recounts the actions of the Van Meter Vigilantes who enacted a not so genius plan for ridding the town of the monster. It worked. That is until the creature got a rebrand! We cover the leads, clues, and suspects, and the coroner’s inquest testimony which led to a decision in the case. It was indeed a senseless tragedy, and did we mention it was bloody? Next, in the 1860 Zodiac Back, Amy Jo covers our sign of the week - Virgo! We discuss the astrology of 1860 and how it compares to upcoming transits, the connections between Lincoln and Kennedy - which, turns out are mostly true, and a sweet Civil War and Astrology course we’re now dying to take. On today’s episode, we cover Mexico’s presidential problems,  popular and problematic songs of the day, a baseball title that was won by fans, the emergence of nursing as a solid career for women, and a surprising letter trolling newly elected US President, Abraham Lincoln, in the 1860 Timeline Twist. Next, Amy Jo covers the “most important eclipse” of 1860 - which proved that CME’s (coronal mass ejections) were products of the sun and not coming from the moon or earth’s atmosphere. We follow three American expeditions that set out that summer for a months-long, arduous journey into the path of totality with all manner of scientific equipment. There were some successes that day in a race against time, hunger, bugs, fatigue, and the weather. Then there were some expeditions that were less successful. On today’s episode, Valerie tells the wild story of the Pirate Don Pedro Gilbert and his Baltimore Clipper, the Panda, who terrorized the Southern Florida coast in the early 1800s. In 1832, when he and his crew diverted from their standard piratical M.O., it would be a move that cost them their lives - well, most of them anyway. Next, Amy Jo’s Zodiac back presents an overview of the Planetary Bodies, recent Astrology headlines and the upcoming Mars Retrograde. We continue our exploration of the zodiac signs with Leo, we talk Herschel Happenings (Yes! The Herschels are back!), and the fascinating fate of Biela’s Comet, that’s no longer a comet, but still very, very cool. Next, Amy Jo presents the atrocious murder of Polly Buttons, a young, skilled button worker, unlucky in love, and struggling to care for her five children. In a story all too familiar, she was betrayed by her love (and his jealous wife?), her life unceremoniously cut short, and her plight immortalized in a nursery rhyme that is CREEPY AF! On today’s episode, Valerie shares the story of Clara Phillips, a young bathing costume model and showgirl turned jealous murderess, who in a fit of passion, attacked her perceived rival so brutally it appeared as if she’d been mauled by a tiger - that is if tigers were able to roll boulders. In the 1922 Zodiac Back, Amy Jo covers outer planet significations and how the 1922 solar eclipse proved Einstein correct! We discuss America’s favorite narcissist (apparently).
