My Voice is a small, lightweight, rechargeable Bluetooth speaker on a customisable necklace with an interchangeable pendant on the front. My Voice tackles the problem of the lack of eye- contact received by non-verbal people. My Voice’s target market is non-verbal people of any age or gender.

In 1989 he and his family migrated to Australia to escape the struggling economy in Ireland. Stephen studied to be a French and Drama teacher at Edith Cowan University and in 1995 he joined the Labor party at the University orientation day. Stephen was elected to represent the Mining & Pastoral Region at the 2013 state election. He served as Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and Goldfields-Esperance regions before being promoted to the position of Shadow Minister for Mental Health; Disability Services and Child Protection in September 2013. Michelle Wong holds the crown of running WA's biggest student hackathon with over 700+ students in one room. In this episode hear how shes started it and why she is a fearless and passionate advocate for youth, regions and innovation. Her vision for GoSHackathon is to highlight a multitude of pathways for future careers, and to see regional youth recognised as innovative disruptors in the technology field. Its mission is to inspire greatness across WA’s regions, bring industry and opportunity, and empower young people through disruption, showcasing their unique skill sets and creativity.   The event was first run in 2023 in the Peel region and is the brainchild of Michelle Wong, who also runs the Mandurah CoderDojo for neurodivergent adolescents.  In 2023, the event combined a single-day showcase for young people followed by a hackathon, which together attracted 700 participants from 13 schools in the region.

Ashlee’s entrepreneurial journey began early. Young Ash was rallying to make the world a better place from a young age, when she was petitioning for canteen food choices, uniform policies and school lockers to prevent people from developing back issues. As you can tell, not much has changed, with Ashlee still spending her days rallying to empower those whose voices are less heard.

Abbie Jane, from the remote town of Broken Hill, founded the Rainbow Shoelace Project in 2022 when she was just 12 years old. What started with Abbie giving away free rainbow beads for people to wear on their shoelaces to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community is now a global movement, with more than 220,000 packets of beads given away in Australia alone.  In 2023, Abbie attended World Pride in Sydney to represent the Rainbow Shoelace Project, was awarded the Regional or Rural Entrepreneur of the Year at the Teens in Business Awards, and presented at the Pride in Practice conference in Sydney. She was recognised as NSW Volunteer of the Year in 2021, and was a member of the NSW Regional Youth Taskforce and NSW Volunteering Taskforce in 2022. Now 14, Abbie is a change-maker and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her ability to cultivate support for issues that affect her community and passion for driving change make her a real force for the future.

Lexy created the mobile application HerHelp when she was just 17 after being bullied growing up. Since its launch Lexy has been able to help thousands of people across the world with her app now a multi-million dollar company with hundreds of professional resources from dance workouts to financial education and everything in between. Her mission is to make mental health and wellness support so much more accessible to anyone and everyone that needs it. While also inspiring the people around her to make the change they can’t see around them. She is the current WA Young Person of the Year for Innovation, and when she isn’t working on her app, she is working with her community to normalise good mental health and inspiring people to be their best selves.

As an influential figure in social entrepreneurship, Taj Pabari has made significant strides in reshaping life skills, entrepreneurship and employment education in Australia.He is the Co-Founder of The ASE Group - a community-led and purpose driven business for good that delivers life skills education, entrepreneurship and employment programs to Australians of all ages. The ASE Group has partnered with Government, the Private Sector and Educational Institutions to deliver programs for more than 180,000 Australians. The ASE Group gained new momentum in 2023 with the addition of Steve Baxter, a notable figure in technology and entrepreneurship and a past ‘Shark’ on Channel 10’s Shark Tank Australia, who came on board as an investor, advisor and ambassador.Taj was named The Australian Young Innovator of the Year for 2014, an award given to Australia’s most exciting innovator. In 2017, Taj was awarded Young Australian of the Year for Queensland. He was the youngest recipient of the award since its formation in 1979.
