It’s a gentle pun as Acey’s musical passion is the drums, which he has been playing since he was a toddler. The roots of Acey’s charity grew from the January 2010 earthquake that devastated Haiti. LifeSpring, the Christian church that Acey and his mother attended, became involved in relief efforts. After this, he conceived something bigger right around the time of the ninth anniversary of The Station fire.
