09 Natalie Ferris: marketing strategist specializing in story

Send us a text message about this episode!Natalie Ferris is a marketing strategist, direct response copywriter and the founder of Story Strategies. She's been obsessed with storytelling since second grade, when she used to skip recess to hide in the classroom closet and write "novels."It wasn't until her first years in the working world that she discovered the power of storytelling to move revenue; as communications officer for a global nonprofit, a single success story she wrote resulted in an 18-month extension to a program that was on the chopping block. Since 2014 she's applied that wisdom to help female entrepreneurs tell stories that attract attention, build relationships and ultimately, inspire sales. Natalie believes that everyone has a story to tell, they just need courage and clarity to put it out there— and that's where she comes in!Natalie lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her husband and her mischievous Havanese, Meeko. She still hasn't tried hot dish, but she loves going Up North.https://storystrategies.comKathie's note: I met Natalie in a breakout room during a Caveday sprint. I'm kind of obsessed with Caveday and basically consider it my office. When Natalie introduced herself as a story marketing strategist, I popped up like a prairie dog and said, "Do what?!? Tell me everything." And I asked her on the podcast so you could hear it also.Writers Rotation intro/outro recorded at Dynamix Productions in Lexington, Kentucky.Support the show
