1. Rebranding Our Podcast Before It Even Started

from Aesthetically Speaking · host Rebecca Peterson

Coming up with a brand can be a daunting task. But when you come up with one you love, the excitement hits….until it doesn’t. When we were going through the process of launching our new podcast, we found out that our great idea of a podcast name (Big Brand Energy) was not only taken, but trademarked.  Before we begin discussing all things branding and design in business as we will on our regular podcast episodes, we decided that since we have to rebrand before we even get started, that we would record the process of us finding a new podcast name as our first episode. With Rebecca being a brand strategist & web designer, and Abby being the lawyer who provides her words of wisdom and legal expertise…we go through a process that not only leads us to a new brand, but one we are excited about. Listen as we talk about naming our podcast, the branding, and what goes behind a trademark. In this episode Rebecca & Abby share: How branding works and what to consider when branding yourself Starting over with the branding of their podcast before even launching The ways in which Rebecca strategizes how she comes up with a brand Taking what they liked about the first branding idea, to come up with the new one How branding is more than just a name and colors When and how to use a trademark with your brand   Take a Look at the Branding for This Episode: rebeccapetersonstudio.com/blog/episode1 Connect with Rebecca: Follow on Instagram @rebeccapetersonstudio Website - rebeccapetersonstudio.com Aesthetically Speaking IG - @aestheticallyspeakingpodcast
