As we notice the imperfections, the frustrations, and the not-so-ideal elements of relationship dynamics (especially within family systems), it's also worth exploring the gifts and opportunities these relationships are mirroring back in us. By observing opportunity for ownership, and responsibility, we open up possibility for liberating our emotional freedom. Through meeting the needs we seek outwardly in others, we open up bandwidth to more appreciation, gratitude, and noticing for all of the gifts in our relationships (even if others do not change).
