#167 - The Power of Vulnerability with Hilarie Houghton

Have you ever considered the incredible power of vulnerability?  Getting there isn't easy, but it is the ultimate weapon in reaching the hearts of others.  On today's very special episode, I welcome an incredible guest, Hilarie Houghton, who shares the powerful story of her journey through joy, grief and authenticity.  On May 15, 2017, Hilarie gave birth to her daughter, Hollis Olivia, and soon learned of the newborn's rare and fatal genetic disorder called non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH). Six short days later, Hilarie and her husband said goodbye to their daughter. The week proved to be the most beautiful and the most difficult time of their lives.  Several months later, Hilarie started talking about her experience publicly on YouTube.  In this episode, Hilarie shares how listening to God's calling gave her the courage to broadcast her story and in doing so has helped others realize that they are not alone.  This is the story of Hilarie telling her story.
