Winging it is the art of doing something with little to no practice or preparation. While winging it can seem fun, spontaneous, and may even make you feel good about yourself in the moment, it inevitably leads to stress, chaos, and pride around what YOU can do and not what the Holy Spirit is doing. On today’s show, I sat down with Lisa Whittle and we talked about winging it versus working for it. Lisa and I dive into the sanctification and growth of trusting a process and doing due diligence in preparing for whatever God has called you to.

When we look at scripture we see the carefully thought-out plans and purposes of God all throughout creation. Through the way He asked Noah to build the ark, Abraham to trust his promise, and David to trust his calling, God shows us that to look more like him is to trust his process and complete the work that is necessary.
