295. Julie Mann – Why Good Habits Create Lasting Change

from Enlightenment of Change · host Connie Whitman

Connie's motivational quote for today is by – Bruce Daggy, "Let's build wellness rather than treat disease." Such a simple quote yet filled with so much truth!  Many of my clients are banks and credit unions, and you can imagine that most of our discussions are about the importance of our financial well-being.  We also discuss the critical importance of having a healthy mind, body, and spirit connection.  That needs to be in place before we can live and thrive.  Without good health, we cannot earn money to support our families.    Watch it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/7YHw7ynzC3A   About Julie Mann: Julie, aka the habit fixer!  Julie helps women over 50 to enjoy amazing health, well-being, and self-confidence through EFT, skincare, nutrition, and digital products.   She started working as an accredited hypnotherapist in 2005, then a year later, trained as a life coach and EFT practitioner.      Becoming a brand ambassador with the B corp Arbonne, and being able to help people with their health inside and out (body, mind, and skin) with cutting-edge products has enabled her to support people and the environment.      She is passionate about acting. This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation. This knowledge exchange workshop was part of the four months Res Not All At Once Kendall Weihe Two guys talking shop once a week. Mostly about the intersection of technology and money.
