Chelsea Clinton - On Saving Endangered Species

Smithsonian Associates Art of Living Interview Series

Welcome to The Not Old Better Show. I'm Paul Vogelzang, and this is episode #335.

As part of our Smithsonian Associates, Art of Living interview series, I am so pleased to be joined today by the author, Chelsea Clinton.

Did you know that blue whales are the largest animals in the world? Or that sea otters wash their paws after every meal? The world is filled with millions of animal species, and all of them are unique and special. Many are on the path to extinction.

To mark the publication of her new book, Don't Let Them Disappear: 12 Endangered Species Across the Globe, Chelsea Clinton introduces us to a selection of endangered animals that she writes about, sharing what makes them special—and what threatens them. She takes a look at rhinos, tigers, whales, pandas, and other species, and provides helpful tips on what we all can do to help prevent these animals from disappearing from our world.

Chelsea Clinton's presentation at Smithsonian Associates is titled, Chelsea Clinton on Saving Endangered Species is on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at the National Zoo. Chelsea Clinton has written a new book, Don't Let Them Disappear: 12 Endangered Species Across the Globe, which will be available for sale and signing, and is the subject of our interview today.

Please join me in welcoming to The Not Old Better Show, Chelsea Clinton.

Julia-ism Julia Mariano Hi, I’m Julia Mariano, host of the Julia-ism podcast. Join me every week to talk about “Julia-isms.” The term coined by my mom, these are only things I would think, let alone say out loud. From being a workaholic to why sometimes friendship don’t work out, I am not shy about anything. It’s weird being a twenty-something living in today’s world, especially being a 24 year-old working as a pediatric neuroscience nurse, and I want to talk about it! If you can relate, tune in so we can discuss. P.S., this show is much better when you have a sweet and salty snack to enjoy as you listen.Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/juliaismpodcast/ Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/juliiamariiano/My ShopMy for products mentioned in episodes: <a href="https:// Reconstructing Healthcare: Innovative Solutions For Employers To Lower Their Healthcare Costs Reconstructing Healthcare: Innovative Solutions For Employers To Lower Their Healthcare Costs Our Healthcare and Health Insurance System is broken. Healthcare costs continue to rise at the expense of employers and employees who often end up paying more each year for reduced levels of benefit and service. If you’ve had enough, then you’ve come to the right place. In this show, we explore what is wrong with the current system and examine what drives higher healthcare costs. We interview companies that are providing innovative services and solutions designed to not only disrupt the health insurance marketplace but deliver lower costs and better value for your employees. Who is this show for? It’s for employers, CEO’s, CFO’s, HR Directors and Benefit Managers and anyone else who is tired of the same poor results that we continue to get from our Health Insurance and Healthcare System. It’s for those who are suspect of the same old answers for why healthcare costs go up and want actionable strategies to get better results.Join us!
