46. Welcome to Season Three!

from A Free Spirit Life · host Shannon Kinney-Düh

Welcome to Season Three of the A Free Spirit Life Podcast!  A Free Spirit Life - the podcast where you discover who you truly are and how to find the courage, clarity and direction to be THAT in the world. Now, more than ever before, we are being called to let go of the conditioning, thoughts, habits and patterns that no longer serve a purpose in our lives and in the world.  You know, that old "stuff" that prevents us from being our most authentic selves - so that we can return to what matters most in life, remember our inner beauty, reconnect to our inner power, self-compassion and soul's purpose.  It's time to feel happier, healthier and experience the true abundance life can offer while we are here living it! When you feel in alignment with who you truly are, you feel more energized, in love and enthusiastic about your life.  That makes you want to share your energy and gifts with us!  And we need your energy and gifts in this world, beautiful you. When you are authentic - you are free.  In today's show, episode 46, I'm returning from a very long break.  It's 2020 - need I say more?  Talk about learning how to let go and adapt!  Today, I share with you a brief overview of what I've been up to.  In particular, I'll introduce you to the powerful, life-altering modality that has brought immense change to my own life - Human Design. Human Design is a powerful tool that is a synthesis of eastern and western astrology, the chakra system, Kabbalah tree of life and the I-Ching, merged together with what we are learning about quantum physics.  It teaches you your energy blueprint and shows you a map of how to live more in alignment with your energy type and design.  I'll share many more details about Human Design in future episodes. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
